Blake looked at Oscar as she spoke. "Now that I think about, you have only mentioned your Grimm Human Hybrid transformation, but never used in Beacon, nor have I seen it"
Oscar chuckled as he looked at Blake, as he cleaned the plate and left it too dry. "Yeah will, out side of dungeon I don't use it, don't want people too hunt me down".
Blake looked at him as she spoke. "People won't do that".
Oscar looked at her as he spoke. "People will do that".
Blake frowned slightly, crossing her arms. "You really think it'd be that bad?"
Oscar sighed, leaning against the counter. "Blake, come on. You've seen how people react to Faunus, and they're just part animal. Now imagine what they'd do if they found out someone had Grimm traits. They wouldn't just be scared—they'd freak out."
Blake stayed quiet for a moment, her ears twitching slightly. "I mean… yeah, I guess you have a point. People can be... irrational."
Oscar nodded. "Exactly. The only reason I'm safe right now is because nobody knows. If word got out, I'd be labeled a threat, a monster, or worse. Even if Ozpin tried to vouch for me, I doubt the Council or the Huntsmen outside of Beacon would just let it slide."
Blake sighed, rubbing her temples. "Yeah, okay. I get it. But still, it's messed up. You're you, no matter what kind of abilities you have."
Oscar gave her a small smile. "Thanks, Blake. But that's just how the world is. For now, I'll keep it to dungeons and emergencies. No need to cause unnecessary chaos."
Blake smirked a little. "Right. Because we definitely don't cause unnecessary chaos on a daily basis."
Oscar laughed. "Okay, fair point. But let's not add 'Beacon-wide panic' to the list, yeah?"
Blake chuckled, shaking her head. "Fine, fine. But if you do ever need to use it outside a dungeon, just know I've got your back."
Oscar looked at her, surprised for a moment before nodding. "I appreciate that, Blake. Really."
Blake gave him a small smile before turning toward the door. "Good. Now come on, let's go before Yang and Ruby start wondering what's taking so long."
Oscar looked at her as he spoke. "Another reason I don't show or simple, my friends will probably accept, does who know me, like You, Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Team CRIM, Team JNPR, Team CFVY, but the big league especially the man up in the sky".
Blake looked as he spoke. "Atlest?".
Oscar nodded. "Yeah, Atlas. Ironwood, the Council, and whoever else calls the shots up there... They wouldn't just accept something like me walking around, even if I haven't done anything wrong."
Blake crossed her arms, frowning. "Ironwood isn't that unreasonable."
Oscar gave her a knowing look. "You really sure about that? A guy who thinks turning himself into a cyborg and militarizing Huntsmen is the best way to keep the world safe? What do you think he'd do if he found out someone like me existed?"
Blake opened her mouth to argue but stopped. She knew Oscar had a point. Ironwood meant well, but he was also incredibly pragmatic, and anything he couldn't fully control was a potential threat in his eyes.
"...Yeah. I see what you mean."
Oscar sighed. "And that's just Ironwood. Imagine what the Atlas Council would think. Or the SDC. The moment they find out about me, I become a potential weapon, an asset, or worse—something they need to eliminate."
Blake's grip tightened on her arms. "You talk about this like you've already decided that's how it'll go."
Oscar shrugged. "Because I have. I've seen how people react to things they don't understand. And right now, the last thing I need is Atlas—or anyone in power—deciding my existence is a problem they need to solve."
Blake sighed, running a hand through her hair. "It's messed up."
Oscar chuckled dryly. "Welcome to reality."
Blake shook her head. "Well, if it ever comes to that, you won't be dealing with it alone. We'll figure something out."
Oscar gave her a small smile. "Thanks, Blake. That means a lot."
Blake smirked. "Of course. Now, let's get back before Weiss and Ruby start dragging us out."
Oscar laughed, nodding as they left the kitchen.
Blake looked at him as she spoke. "Also don't say something like welcome to thr real world, remind me again out of the two of us who was in white fang".
Oscar chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Okay, fair point. You definitely got the harsher crash course in how messed up the world can be."
Blake crossed her arms and smirked. "Exactly. So if anyone should be giving cynical reality checks, it's me."
Oscar shook his head, grinning. "Fine, fine. I'll leave the jaded commentary to the professional."
Blake smirked. "Good. Now let's get back before Ruby and Weiss come looking for us. I do not want to deal with another one of Ruby's 'team bonding' ambushes."
Oscar laughed as they walked out. "Yeah, last time she tried, we ended up in a five-hour game of Remnantopoly. Never again."
Blake sighed. "Never again."
The next day team ROWBY was running, as they were rushing at the class, as all of them were trying too make to there class only too find Cinder who was walking up the stairs
Cinder looked at them and pointe at her watch. "Better have goo excuse before I get too class"
She started too walk of, as the group saw the dust teacher miss Cinder just give them a smirk before she fully desiper.
Yang opener a window and climes. "Fuck this"
As she started too clime the wall too the class, which was on the 5th floor and she was scary good it, Oscar just shadow travel's him and Blake into the class room, Ruby Actived her semblance and ran, as Weiss she just released she is fucked.
Weiss stood there for a moment, watching as her entire team abandoned her to deal with the consequences alone.
She sighed. "Of course. Just leave the heiress behind."
Taking a deep breath, she straightened her uniform, squared her shoulders, and walked toward the classroom like a noblewoman facing her execution.
Meanwhile, inside the classroom, Oscar and Blake materialized from the shadows near the back, earning a few startled glances from students. Ruby arrived a split second later, stopping in a blur of rose petals before casually sliding into her seat.
A minute later, Yang pulled herself in through the window, dusting off her hands. "Whew, that was a workout!" she whispered to Oscar. "Think I should start charging for rooftop parkour lessons?"
Oscar chuckled. "Might be a good side hustle."
Then the classroom door swung open.
Weiss walked in, as composed as possible, and sat down in her seat.
Cinder, who had been waiting at the front, raised an eyebrow at Weiss but said nothing—just smirking slightly.
Yang leaned over to Oscar. "I think Weiss is about to have a really bad day."
Oscar nodded. "Yep. But at least we made it."
Cinder looker at Weiss, then she looked at Oscar, Ruby, Yang and Blake. "Will at least most of your team made in time, key word most".
Weiss grit her teeth, feeling the smirks of her so-called teammates on her back.
Ruby chuckled nervously. "Uh… well, you know, teamwork is about making sure most of us succeed, right?"
Yang grinned. "Yeah, it's like that saying—'no man left behind'—except, you know… sometimes."
Blake just casually sipped her coffee, not getting involved.
Oscar sighed and decided to throw Weiss a bone. "Miss Cinder, technically, Weiss was only a few seconds late. Surely that doesn't warrant a penalty, does it?"
Cinder smirked. "Oh? Trying to play defense, Oscar?" She twirled a small piece of fusion dust in her hand before continuing. "Unfortunately for Miss Schnee, rules are rules. A second late or a minute late, it's still late."
Weiss groaned and slumped in her seat. "Just get it over with. What's the punishment?"
Cinder smiled. "Simple. You get to stay after class and help me organize the dust inventory."
Oscar and the rest of ROWBY immediately straightened up, looking at Weiss with silent sympathy.
Being stuck alone with Cinder Fall after class? Yeah… that was gonna be rough.
After the day ended, Weiss was helping Cinder organize the dust inventory, as she was she stopped and looked a particular box, to was brown but felt metallic, as she looked as she opened as she only got a glimpse of it, it looked like dark dust Crystal but it was no gravity dust, as then before she fully opned the Box cinder took it for her hand.
Cinder looked at her as she spoke. "Miss Weiss, I do say not too snoop around your teacher's belongings next time".
Weiss quickly withdrew her hands, her mind racing as she processed what she had just seen. That crystal—it wasn't like any Dust she had ever encountered. It was dark, almost absorbing the light around it, and something about it sent a chill down her spine.
She looked up at Cinder, whose smirk remained composed, but Weiss could tell there was something dangerous in her gaze.
"I wasn't snooping," Weiss said carefully, trying to act nonchalant. "I was just organizing like you asked."
Cinder tilted her head slightly, still holding the mysterious box. "Of course. And I appreciate your diligence, Miss Schnee. But some things are best left untouched, wouldn't you agree?"
Weiss clenched her fists at her sides but nodded. "Understood, Miss Cinder."
Cinder smiled, setting the box aside before gesturing to the remaining shelves. "Good. Now, let's finish up. We wouldn't want you staying here all night, now would we?"
Weiss forced herself to nod and continued working, but her mind lingered on that crystal. What the hell was that?
One thing was clear—Cinder was hiding something.
Outside of the class, Oscar grabbed another crude drawing of Weiss as he uses fire ball to burn as he sighed. "I am really gonna find who ever is responsible for this".
Yang scooped as she clenches her fist. "Your not the only one".
Blake crossed her arms, her golden eyes narrowing as she looked at the ashes of the crude drawing. "At this point, it's not just a prank anymore. Someone is deliberately targeting Weiss."
Ruby clenched her scythe tightly, her usual cheerful demeanor darkened. "Weiss acts like she doesn't care, but I know it's bothering her."
Oscar looked at them, determination in his gaze. "Then we need to put a stop to this. If they think they can get away with harassing her, they're dead wrong."
Yang smirked, cracking her knuckles. "I like the way you think, farm boy. So, what's the plan?"
Oscar thought for a moment before looking at the others. "We set a trap. Whoever's doing this, they have to be putting these up when no one's around. We stake out the hallways tonight and catch them in the act."
Blake nodded. "I can use my semblance to stay hidden. If they think no one's watching, they'll slip up."
Ruby grinned. "And I can zip around quickly to check different areas!"
Yang rolled her shoulders. "And if we do catch them, I get first punch."
Oscar chuckled. "Let's just find out who it is first. Then, we'll decide how to handle it."
With their plan in motion, the team dispersed, each of them more determined than ever to put an end to the harassment. Whoever was targeting Weiss was about to have a very bad night.
Meanwhile with team CRIM, as Claw mark destroyed a part of wall, as there was pissed Isaac. "Oh someone is missing with my Cousin"
Crimson looked at him friends. "Isaac chill out, your half way through transforming into a Grimm".
Rose then spoke. "Too late he has already Actived his transformation Semblance, Morgan chill your boyfriend out".
Morgan sighed as she rubbed her temples. "Right, because calming down an enraged half-Grimm is totally my job now." She turned to Isaac, who was still seething, his claws retracting and extending instinctively as dark energy swirled around him.
"Isaac," Morgan said firmly, stepping in front of him. "You need to calm down. Losing control here isn't going to help Weiss. If you go on a rampage, you'll just make things worse."
Isaac snarled, his red eyes glowing for a moment before he took a deep breath, forcing himself to steady. His claws retracted, though his muscles were still tense. "Someone is messing with Weiss. I will find out who."
Crimson crossed his arms. "And we will. But we do it smart. Not by tearing down walls like a damn Grimm."
Rose smirked. "Yeah, we're supposed to be the subtle kind of scary, remember?"
Isaac exhaled sharply, finally getting his emotions under control. He looked at his team, then nodded. "Fine. But when we do find the person responsible, I'm making sure they regret it."
Morgan smirked. "That's the spirit. Now, let's go see if we can get in on whatever plan Oscar and his team are cooking up."
