The next day, Oscar and Weiss were in a Café, and they were looking at each other.
Weiss looked at Oscar as she spoke. "Thanks for talking to me, after the last few days, I kinda need this".
Oscar Smirked as he spoke. "No problem Ice Princess".
Weiss rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress the small smile that tugged at her lips. "You're impossible," she said, shaking her head, but there was warmth in her voice.
Oscar leaned back in his chair, sipping his coffee. "Yeah, but you love it," he teased.
Weiss raised an eyebrow, her smile turning a little more genuine. "Oh really? You think I love having to put up with your antics?"
"Of course," Oscar said with a wink. "Who else would keep you on your toes?"
Weiss couldn't help but laugh, the tension from the past few days finally starting to lift. "You're insufferable," she muttered, but there was no real malice behind the words.
Oscar grinned, clearly enjoying the banter. "And you wouldn't have it any other way."
She gave him a pointed look, her smile still lingering. "Don't get too cocky, Oz. I'm only putting up with you because you're the only one who can keep me entertained without going overboard."
"Hey, I'll take what I can get," he said, shrugging nonchalantly. "It's the least I can do after everything that's been happening."
Weiss sighed, a more serious note creeping into her tone. "Yeah... I've been thinking about all of this. About the posters, the comments... it's not just about me, it's about how others see me. It's hard to ignore sometimes."
Oscar nodded, understanding what she meant. "I get it. But it doesn't define who you are. You're not just the Ice Queen or the rich girl. You're Weiss Schnee, and that's who we all see."
Weiss paused, her expression softening. "It's easy for you to say that. You've always been good at seeing the best in people, even when they don't see it themselves."
Oscar smiled gently. "I guess it's because I've had to do the same for myself. Sometimes you just need someone else to remind you that you're worth more than the bad stuff people throw at you."
Weiss looked down at her coffee, her fingers tracing the rim of the cup. "I guess I needed to hear that."
They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, the noise of the café humming around them. Weiss took a deep breath, feeling a little lighter than she had in days.
"Thanks, Oscar," she said quietly, her voice filled with sincerity. "I needed this more than I realized."
Oscar gave her a reassuring smile. "Anytime, Weiss. You're not alone in this."
Then they saw something: someone was putting up the Poster; they saw he was a bit smaller than a normal teen his age and even chubby.
Oscar then screamed Potion at him. "YOU".
The person saw them and started to run, as Oscar and Weiss came out, both the Aura flared and started to chase after him
Weiss spoke running. "Ok, that is the Culprit".
As they change after him, Oscar could have used [Shadow Step] or even his [Agility Skill], but he wants to know why. "Stop right there, You're the guy that has been putting up Drawings, aren't you?".
"Why are you using plural, you nincompoop? It was just that one until you took it down". The Culprit said speeding down.
Weiss then spoke running after him. "But why are you doing this?"
The Culprit then spoke again, speeding down. "A preemptive strike agents the evil of the SDC, take this".
Then They saw seeds send at them, as they moved out of the way.
Weiss, very confused, asks. "Are you throwing seeds at us that you have eaten?
The Culprit then screamed again. "The Pristine Whiteness of Evil can't handle the filth of freedom".
Oscar just screamed. "That makes zero sense".
They continued to chase across all of Vale, as they looked, it was starting to be noon.
Weiss spoke as her Aura flickered a bit. "He is fast for buggy little guy".
Oscar spoke as if he was in fit shape. "How is he still fat when we do all that training in Beacon".

The Culprit then spoke. "Your Pathetic attempt at comprehending my greatness fails the agent's semblance, it allows me. To exponentially increase the amount of calories that get absorbed by my body".
Weiss screamed in frustration. "So you're telling me that you have a semblance that potentially is used to go without food for the day, making you an incredible asset in long-term missions in the wild, but you use it to stay fat". Weiss yelled
Oscar yelled, frustrated. "That's it"
His [Shadow travelled] in front of him and held him by the face as Oscar Spoke. "Got you".
Weiss spoke Looking at him. "Why are you saying lies about me? I'm not a plant by my father".
The Culprit spoke, moving in Oscar's hand. "Like I would ever believe you".
Weiss spoke with genuine curiosity. "But why?".
The Culprit then spoke. "Because you're his flesh and blood, you were born a Schnee, born that person's daughter, and brought up in his household, so it's 100% certain you're evil".
Oscar spoke spitting on that idea. "Will that is just pure idiotic; just because she is his daughter doesn't mean she is like him, so in you're point of view, if your parents are a certain way and you get brought up in their home, it is guaranteed that you end up like them, that is rubbish".
"Not in her case". The Culprit said.
Oscar looked as he spoke. "Why is that".
He then spoke. "Because she is a Schnee".
Oscar looked at him, as he then throws him in the trash, and closes the lid of the dumpsters. "Let's just go, no point in arguing with someone who has 2 braincells".
Weiss stood still for a moment, taking in what had just happened. She couldn't believe the absurdity of it all. "That was... something."
Oscar sighed, wiping his hands off on his clothes. "Yeah, it's always a fun time chasing down random weirdos who think they know everything."
Weiss looked at the dumpster where they had tossed the culprit and frowned. "I don't understand how people can think that way. Just because I'm a Schnee doesn't mean I am like my father. People are so quick to judge."
Oscar nodded, stepping back toward her. "People are always looking for reasons to make their own prejudices feel validated. But that doesn't mean they're right, Weiss. You know that."
She nodded but still seemed troubled. "I just... wish it was easier to change people's minds. To make them see me for who I truly am, not just for my last name."
Oscar placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You don't need to change anyone's mind. People who matter, people who see you for who you really are, they know. That's what matters."
Weiss smiled softly, feeling comforted by his words. "Thanks, Oscar. You're right. I just get caught up in it sometimes."
"Yeah, well, we all do," Oscar said with a half-smile. "But it's all about focusing on the people who support you. The rest are just noise."
They both turned to leave, but Weiss glanced back at the dumpster one last time. "Still, I wish people would just mind their own business."
Oscar chuckled, glancing over at her. "You and me both. But hey, at least you got to chase down the guy, right?"
Weiss gave him a side-eyed look. "Yeah, guess I got my exercise in for the day."
As they walked back toward Beacon, the noise of Vale around them was just a faint hum compared to the thoughts running through their minds. It wasn't always easy being in the spotlight, especially with people like that running around, but with Oscar by her side, Weiss felt like she could handle it.
"Let's just get back to Beacon before someone else starts causing trouble," Oscar said, trying to lighten the mood.
"Agreed," Weiss replied with a small smile.
As they walked side by side, their pace picked up, the weight of the day lifting with each step, ready to face whatever came next.
"Oh, and Thanks for helping me, Oscar". Weiss said as she kissed him on the cheeks.
As she then walked past him, Oscar's brain crashed, as he blinked. Oscar stood there for a moment, his brain processing what had just happened. His hand instinctively went up to his cheek where Weiss had kissed him, still feeling the warmth from the gesture.
[Host, you ok?]
He blinked again, trying to get his thoughts back together. "Yeah... yeah, I'm fine." His voice came out a little shaky as he muttered to himself, "Just... just unexpected."
Oscar felt a wave of heat rush to his face, cursing internally as he tried to regain his composure. Did that just happen?
[Host, I recommend taking a deep breath. It is clear you are flustered.]
Oscar took a deep breath and forced himself to focus. "Right. No need to panic. It's just... Weiss."
[Host, I suggest you not overthink it. It's just a kiss on the cheek. These things happen.]
Oscar nodded to himself, trying to ignore the voice in his head. As Weiss walked ahead, he hurried to catch up, his mind still racing.
"You're welcome, Weiss!" he called out, trying to sound casual, though his voice betrayed his inner turmoil.
Weiss glanced back at him with a small smile. "Come on, slowpoke," she teased, before turning forward again, her pace picking up as she led the way back to Beacon.
Oscar jogged to catch up, the events of the day slowly fading, but the warmth on his cheek and the feeling of Weiss's kiss lingered in his thoughts.
[Host, do you need further assistance processing this?]
Oscar cleared his throat. "No... I'll be fine. Let's just get back before anything else weird happens."
As they continued walking together toward Beacon, Oscar couldn't help but feel that the day had just taken a very unexpected turn.
Later that night, as Oscar is in his Mr White Identity in the underworld, Blake pokes his chick.
Blake looked still in her disguise as she spoke. "Remnet to Oscar's".
Oscar, still in his Mr White identity, glanced at Blake, his usual calm demeanour hiding the sudden rush of thoughts that filled his mind. He knew she was probably going to question him about his earlier behaviour with Weiss, but he didn't expect her to approach him like this, especially in the underworld.
"Yes?" he replied, his voice a little more serious than usual as he kept his eyes on the surroundings, ensuring they were still hidden from prying eyes.
Blake smirked, clearly enjoying this moment of teasing. "Oscar's... still acting like the shy, clueless boy we all know, huh?" She raised an eyebrow, her cat-like eyes glimmering under the low lights.
Oscar blinked, caught off guard for a moment, but quickly regained his composure. "What are you talking about?"
Blake tilted her head slightly, her ears twitching beneath the hood of her disguise. "You know, the whole 'acting all cool' in front of Weiss and then going all red when she kissed you on the cheek." She chuckled under her breath, clearly enjoying the chance to tease him.
Oscar rubbed the back of his neck, clearly flustered. "It wasn't like that. I'm just—" He stopped himself, realizing that Blake was having too much fun with this.
Blake leaned in slightly, still maintaining her calm demeanour but with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Really? Because you looked like you were going to short-circuit in front of her."
He sighed, knowing that Blake wasn't going to let this go. "Look, I don't even know why she did that. I was just... helping her, and it was just a kiss on the cheek. Nothing more."
Blake tilted her head again as if she wasn't buying it completely. "Oscar, you're a terrible liar."
Oscar groaned, his hands slipping into his pockets as he tried to shake the moment off. "Can we focus on what we're here to do? We're in the underworld, not in Beacon."
Blake's smirk widened. "Fine, fine, but this isn't over, Oscar. We're not done talking about your 'little moment' with Weiss."
Oscar then Blinked as he released something. "Wait, how do you know about that kiss?".
Blake's smirk deepened as she crossed her arms, clearly enjoying Oscar's confusion. "You really think you're the only one who notices things around here?" she replied, her voice a bit playful but tinged with an almost teasing seriousness. "I've got eyes everywhere, Oscar. And if there's one thing I've learned from being part of a team, it's that nothing gets past me."
Oscar blinked in surprise, trying to keep his composure. "But... you weren't even there! How did you—?"
Blake cut him off, a knowing glint in her eyes. "You were acting a little... different after it happened, and Weiss wasn't exactly subtle about it either. I've got my sources," she said, shrugging casually as if it were no big deal.
Oscar let out a frustrated sigh. "Seriously, Blake? I can't believe you've been keeping an eye on that. It was just a kiss—nothing more." He rubbed his temples, feeling the weight of the situation. "You really are relentless, huh?"
Blake shrugged again, this time with a more serious expression. "I'm just making sure you're not running from your own feelings, Oscar. You don't always have to act so cool and distant with people. Sometimes it's okay to let them in."
Oscar was silent for a moment, processing her words. "I... I know. It's just... all this stuff with the mission and everything else, I don't have the time or the energy to think about that stuff."
Blake's tone softened slightly. "It's okay to have both, Oscar. You don't need to shut out everything else just because you're focused on the mission. Balance is important, even here." She gave him a small, encouraging smile.
Oscar nodded slowly, taking in her advice. "Thanks, Blake. I'll keep that in mind."
Blake gave him a quick nod, clearly satisfied with his response. "No problem. Now, let's focus. We've got work to do." She turned her attention back to the task at hand, but Oscar could feel the weight of her words lingering in the air as they continued their mission in the underworld.
Melanie then spoke looking at them. "Hey, you two done, we are meeting with our client in a few minutes".
Oscar sighed as he spoke. "Fusion dust supply checked".
Blake gave a nod, adjusting the strap on her gear. "Weapons checked, all set." She glanced at Melanie, who was standing by the door, waiting for them to wrap things up.
Melanie, her arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. "Good, because the client's expecting us soon, and I don't want to be late for a job. You two can have your little moments after we finish this one."
Oscar gave a quick chuckle, trying to shake off the tension that had built up. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just get this over with. It's not like I'm gonna forget what we talked about... just need to focus."
Blake smirked, knowing exactly what he meant. "Yeah, I get it. Now, let's go earn our pay."
With that, they all geared up and made their way to meet the client, the brief moment of introspection behind them. Their minds now focused on the mission ahead, but for Oscar, there was a quiet thought lingering in the back of his mind, a shift in his perspective.
