Chapter 96 - Chapter 96

Chapter 96: Brother, Please Massage My Legs

As expected, Ye Feng's gaze moved away from Tang San without hesitation. His eyes lingered on Dai Mubai for a moment, but before Dai Mubai could even get excited or say a word of thanks, Ye Feng turned his attention to Zhu Zhuqing instead.

Walking up to Zhu Zhuqing, Ye Feng held out the spirit bone emitting a red glow.

"Boss Ye… you're really giving this to me?" Zhu Zhuqing hesitated, a mix of surprise and doubt in her voice.

"Yeah," Ye Feng nodded firmly.

"No, Boss Ye. This is too valuable. You were the one who killed that wolf bandit. This is your prize."

"I'm a strong attack, control, and auxiliary-type spirit master. This spirit bone isn't suited for me. No matter what ability it has, it'll definitely boost movement speed—and you're an agility-type attacker. This suits you best. Don't argue, just take it."

As soon as Ye Feng finished speaking, he grabbed Zhu Zhuqing's hand and pressed the spirit bone into her palm.

Tang San sighed inwardly. Ye Feng really isn't going to consider me at all, huh?

"This…" Zhu Zhuqing hesitated again, glancing at the others for their opinions. "Boss Ye, what you said makes sense, but this spirit bone would still be useful to you."

"Zhuqing, just take it," Xiao Wu chimed in with a grin. "If we find another spirit bone in the future that suits me, you won't have to compete with me for it."

"That's right," Ning Rongrong agreed, taking Xiao Wu's arm affectionately. "We're all close. When we find spirit bones that suit us, we can share them like this."

With Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong voicing their support, Ma Hongjun and Oscar—who had already benefitted from Ye Feng's arrangements—naturally wouldn't fight over it. Since Ye Feng had made his decision, they had no objections.

Dai Mubai and Tang San, realizing they had no chance, could only say a few polite words and give up on the competition.

"Alright then," Zhu Zhuqing finally nodded and stored the glowing red spirit bone in her spatial ring.

Ding Dong!

At that moment, the system voice echoed in Ye Feng's mind:

"Congratulations. Due to the host's interference, the Bloodthirsty Frenzied Hurricane Right Leg Bone, which originally belonged to Dai Mubai in the future, now belongs to Zhu Zhuqing. This has altered the original timeline. Reward: 30 attribute points."

After dealing with the wolf bandits, Ye Feng and his group beheaded the corpses. Killing was one thing, but cutting off heads was another.

Despite their reluctance and nausea, everyone—Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, Oscar, Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, and Ye Feng—forced themselves to do it. They collected the severed heads in bags and headed to the nearest city to claim their reward.

Wolf bandits were notorious criminals, known for preying on humans. Both the Xingluo Empire and Tiandou Empire encouraged spirit masters to hunt them down, offering ten gold spirit coins per confirmed kill.

After collecting their bounty, the group resumed their journey back to Shrek Academy.

With the All-Continent Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament approaching, time was tight. They hurried through their travels, stopping at an inn in a small village for the night. Based on their pace, they'd reach the academy by tomorrow afternoon.

Late at night, as Ye Feng was resting in his room, a knock came at the door. When he opened it, he found Xiao Wu standing outside.

She gave him a sly wink. Without a word, Ye Feng stepped out and shut the door behind him.

"My legs are so sore from all the running today," Xiao Wu pouted, her cheeks flushing. "Brother, can you massage them for me?"

"Alright," Ye Feng agreed without hesitation. He glanced around. "Not here, though."

"Why not? Zhuqing and Rongrong are both asleep." Xiao Wu lowered her head shyly, her blushing face like a ripe peach, tempting enough to take a bite.

Ye Feng chuckled and squatted in front of her. Before she could react, he scooped her up into a princess carry and leapt away. A few swift jumps later, he landed on the thick trunk of an ancient tree outside the village.

Setting her down gently, Ye Feng sat beside her and placed her legs on his lap. He then began kneading the soreness from her calves.

"Brother, do we have to keep traveling like this tomorrow?" Xiao Wu asked.

"Yeah. I know it's tough, but extraordinary people do extraordinary things. Only those who endure hardships can become the best," Ye Feng replied.

"Mm… Well, I don't mind. This way, I have an excuse to make you rub my legs," Xiao Wu teased, enjoying the massage. "Your hands feel really good. Brother, how are you so good at this?"

"Uh… just natural talent." Ye Feng hesitated, unwilling to admit that in his past life, he had plenty of experience with full-service massage parlors.

"Brother, aren't you feeling hot?" Xiao Wu suddenly asked.

Ye Feng glanced at her and sighed. "Xiao Wu, can you sit differently?"

"Hmm? Why? This is comfortable."

"It's just… inconvenient for me."

"Inconvenient? Why?" Xiao Wu blinked in confusion.

Ye Feng exhaled sharply. "It's not my hands that are inconvenient. It's my eyes and my heart."

"My eyes and heart? What does that mean?" Xiao Wu followed his gaze downward—then instantly understood.

Her face turned beet red. She instinctively pressed her legs together and tugged her pink miniskirt down, adjusting it to avoid any accidental exposure.

At that moment, she wished the ground would just swallow her whole.

"Brother… It would be nice if we could always be like this," Xiao Wu whispered. Then, hesitating for a moment, she added, "If you have a wife in the future, will you still want me around?"

Ye Feng flicked her forehead lightly. "Silly girl, of course. No matter what, you're my little sister. You'll always have a place in my heart."

Xiao Wu pouted. "Brother, you're the best to me. But Rongrong and Zhuqing keep teasing me, saying that we're just like brother and sister!"

"You are my sister," Ye Feng said with a playful smile.

"That's not what I meant!" Xiao Wu huffed. "There's a difference between this kind of sister and that kind of sister!"

"Oh? What's the difference?" Ye Feng asked, feigning ignorance. After a pause, he smirked. "Wait… Xiao Wu, don't tell me you're thirsty for me?"

Xiao Wu froze. When she realized what he meant, she immediately punched him in the chest. "You bastard! It's obviously you who's thirsty for me! You always take advantage of me whenever we go on these so-called dates!"

Ye Feng grinned wickedly, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Now that you mention it, I have been slacking tonight. I haven't taken any advantage of you yet."
