It had been two days since I arrived here, and I had been bothered by the flora and fauna without rest, they attacked from the air, the ground... anywhere really which caused me to practically eradicate them.
Vines trying to hoist me in the air would be sliced into bits by the sharp barrier disks, the airborn eldritch abominations would suicide charge into the barriers I set up, and of course, the surface dwelling flower-faced slendermen and dogs would get grinded by my unstoppable glowing bubbles into mangled pieces of flesh that I was too disgusted to eat. That and I had virtually no means to cook them.
I was starting to run low on energy though, considering I had virtually no food, water and almost no sleep at alI whilst fending of relentless attacks and looking around for sustenance.
I had good news though, considering I was the focus of pretty much every living thing in this place and that nothing bigger or more agile than those slender men was attacking me, that most likely mean't those didn't exist or simply weren't here and that fights weren't going to be any harder than they already were.
Although luckily, they seemed to have reduced their efforts to bring me down, no longer actively seeking me out but only attacking when they knew I was arround them.

My two days of exploration brought me through the forrest into a place I didn't imagine would be here.
I currently stood infront of a massive building, I never would have thought something of this scale could be in such a small midwestern town. But then I had an Idea, could this be some kind of high tech lab. Maybe they discovered some kind of virus, that leaked out and took over nature, turning the humans into those flower monsters. That was probably a little farfetched... but I should investigate.
After all, I needed answers.
I calmly entered the place, being wary not to lower my guard. Who knows what could be hiding in here.
Besides, in the case that my earlier theory of "Virus breaching containement" holds true, my barrier won't let any virus or bacteria go through it into me. It (the virus) just won't be strong enough to do so.
I calmly explored the area, seeing offices, various labs with broken computers and other such laboratory worthy equipement, a canteen, an infirmiry, rooms with small beds, a hall with various young kids books, all kinds of puzzles and even a rainbow or two on its walls.
Well that's odd, I didn't visit everything else unfortunatly, as I noticed the presence of a basement and before long, curiosity took the better of me as I desended the steps to bare witness to something... horrifying.
A humongous fleshy construct, with a flickering light at it center. It was like a wound, inviting the filth of this place to bleed into it.
For some reason that I just can't explain, I decided it wouldn't hurt to sneak a peak (damn me and my curiosity.)
I approached the abomination with caution, ready to inflict my wrath upon it if it ever decided to show any signs of aggression.
But it didn't, or at least the indications were too small. I entered through, slimy liquid and other organic matter sullying my person in the process.
Arriving to the other side of whatever that gateway led to, I found myself succombing to relief as i could finally see humans. I had made the right call in coming through after all.
Although it seemed they weren't too happy to see me.

[??? P.O.V]
(A few minutes earlier)
When Eleven opened the gate, I had been ecstatic, my efforts to reach number 1 were not in vain. This momentary feeling of joy, however, died down very quickly after it was revealed she escaped during the commotion. Agents were looking for her all over though, and it was only a matter of time before she was returned to her dear papa.
Whilst searches where taking place for her though, my team of scientists and myself had immersed ourselves in the study of this interdimentional portal.
Teams of scouts with all kinds of equipement had been dispatched in the following few days, each one getting mauled to death by the savage inhabitants of that place.
The most recent expedition had been a success fortunatly, with it's team members somehow not encountering a single thing. That was strange, why attack all the others to simply let these ones go unharmed.
That thought remained ingrained inside my inquisitive brain until...

[General P.O.V]
A tall handsome blonde man with blue eyes, dressed in a simple t-shirt and shorts exited the gate, his narrowed eyes glowing a beautiful shade of neon blue.
His hands were outstretched whilst a golden aura was pouring out of his body into the atmosphere.
The security present at the scene, observing everthing quickly brought up their guns before crying out loud.
"PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR, NOW!!!"
