MARCUS
I needed to find a way to get rid of Noah.
He was quickly becoming an obstacle in my path. I had been watching Ciara for days, careful to note if they were still together or not.
But when I saw no sign of him, I had made my move. My plan was to talk to my girl and just let her know that I was back, that all I got from the arrest her fake husband made was a light punishment.
But she had turned as pale as a sheet the moment she saw me. That broke my heart a little. I had hoped that she would forget about me trying to save her — which she totally misunderstood, by the way — and just remember all the good memories we had together.
Before I could do anything though, that son of a bitch had appeared and sent me away. He had even wanted to beat me up, if not for the intervention of my lovely Ciara.
I quickly realised that he was a mad man, and arguing with him wasn't going to get me anywhere.
