~Double Trouble~
The party from last night was a lot for Arvalis as he got up from a couch for which Lucy let him sleep on. Waking up, he yawned as Lucy was already all set for the day.
"Morning. Ready for your life at Fairy Tail?" She asked
"Oh yeah. I wonder what kind of jobs there will be." He says as he gets up where he had his pants still on, but was shirtless. He put his shirt on only then to grab his coat to see it all torn up.
"Aw man. Guess I gotta do some clothe shopping." He says as Lucy smirks with a chuckle.
"You and Erza really did a number on each other sparring while drunk." Lucy says reminding him if last night's comaraderie.
"That's right. Erza and I kind of messed up the place." Arvalis chuckled hearing the slashes and the sparks of metal clashing echoing in the guild hall.
Lucy and Arvalis then left the apartment as he yawned. Surprised, but knowing so, Lucy just gave a friendly chuckle.
"You must still be tired." She claims
"Hardy har har....say....that baby that's cooking in you. Is that Natsu's?" Arvalis asked Lucy when she immediately stopped and turned to face him.
"Say that again?!" She asked furiously
"You have a baby coming along." Arvalis says
"Holy crap.... I'm pregnant with Natsu's baby....." She said kind of scared.
"You're not pulling my leg here are you?" Lucy asked
"No I'm not. You really do have a baby coming. I have a spell called All Seeing Eye and I can see everything in a span of a five mile radius and can see inside people. I can see people's true forms and such as well." Arvalis explains his spell.
"Damn....how will I tell Natsu and the others?" Lucy was becoming frantic
"Hey calm down. You don't have to tell him right away. Just think about how you want to present it to him." Arvalis adds a bit of a soothing aura to calm her down as it works. She calmed down as the two were coming up to the guild hall. She stops and looks at him.
"Thanks Arvalis. I needed that." Lucy then nods as the two walk inside the guild.
As soon as they walked in, Erza was there with Mira discussing something when she turned to see Arvalis.
"Oh good, you're here. First, I'd like to apologize for last night." Erza says
"I'd like to apologize too." Arvalis wanted to make sure both sides were at a mutual understanding.
"You two were wild last night. An intense night of fighting." Mira says
"Yeah...getting a bit overboard, but anyway..." Arvalis trailed off to move along.
"Right. Second thing, taking a job." Erza says directing Arvalis to the job board.
"There are a vast array of different types of jobs. From retrieving items, to stopping bandits, slaying monsters and more." Erza explains
"Then I'll go with this one then." Arvalis grabs a flyer stating: Bandits on Mt. Hakabe.
"Alright. This will be your first job. Would you like company or go solo?" Erza asked
"Since this is my first job, I'll do this solo." Arvalis said as everyone nodded.
From there he took his leave from the guild and then eventually out of Magnolia. He went north to where he came up to Hakabe Mountains.
Entering the fridgid mountain, he walked through the snow trekking and trying to find clues to where the bandits would be. Going over a snow hill, he peeked over and saw a small camp.
Sliding down the hill and coming up to the small camp, he noticed drag marks in the snow with pressed down square imprints along the way.
"Those are rather odd....let's follow them." He moves along following the tracks to a cavern.
Inside the cavern, he looked around and found the bandits hanging in a make shift cage. One of them was mumbling when Arvalis sharply glanced to the right and side jumped to the left.
An icy arm came out downwards slamming into the ground. Arvalis slid to the side while pivoting as he put his right hand out to the side and a golden blade Broadsword appeared.
He went to take a step forward when two icy arms came up from the ground from both sides of him coming inwards. Immediately, he jumped up and somersaulted on the side of a ceiling spike then pushed off.
With multiple slashes at once, Arvalis went on the other side slicing off the arm of the ice golem. It roared as it fell and hit the ground. Spinning around, Arvalis unequipped the broadsword then requipped his chain while fusing his dagger together.
"Lost Blade Fusion: Exodus Iron Maiden"
The chains glowed a golden hue as he whipped the chain blade around guiding the two daggers to wrap up around the downed Ice golem. It squeezed and broke the ice golem into multiple pieces.
The ice golem roared as it went forward towards Arvalis while it brought its fists down. Arvalis managed to wrap the chain around it's wrists as the other end went up and tightened it to the point it was struggling by pulling. He then made a golden spear appear in his right hand and thrown it at the center of its body.
Piercing through and coming out the other end, the ice golem then fell apart. After the whole battle, and the dagger fused chain vanishing it, Arvalis requipped a golden bow and shot the ice chains that held the cages up as they fell down.
Walking up, the bandits inside were shocked by the mere magic power Arvalis wields. They groveled to the ground hoping Arvalis would spare them.
"Please don't hurt us! I swear we won't do anything remotely thieving or anything of the sorts ever again!!" The leader says as his buddies were on the ground. Arvalis runs the back of his head wandering what he should do.
"Come with me to Fairy Tail." Arvalis says to them as they understood making their way back.
Upon making their return to Fairy Tail, Mira glanced over to see who just came in and saw Arvalis. She then saw the bandits at the door a bit scared to go in.
"Come on. Let's go!" Arvalis says as the bandits walked in and came up behind Arvalis.
"Umm, Arvalis...Why are the bandits here?" Mira asked
"Because I saved their asses from being eaten by two ice golems. Yes I defeated them." Arvalis says
"Wow, that's amazing. Ice golems are naturally strong magic beasts." Mira says
"What do we have here?" Asked Makarov that came walking in from his office looking at the small group of bandits.
"Saved their butts from two ice golems I destroyed. They asked for mercy and so I brought them here to ask for your guidance master." Arvalis explained
"I see...you lot, if you want to turn your lives around. I suggest turning yourselves in first and do your time." Makarov says as they understood. They turned around and walked out of the guild.
"You did a good job Arvalis. Collect your reward." Makarov says as Arvalis nods and gets his reward from Mira. He did set a hundred jewels down on the counter.
"I'll take a Ale." Arvalis says as Mira pushes the heels back to him. On the house for completing your first job." Mira says pouring him a mug and he grabs it.
"Oh come on! I just want to know!" Yelled the flame brain Natsu towards Gray.
"Not gonna happen." Gray says as Erza, Happy and Lucy was with them. Arvalis walks over to Lucy as the group walks away.
"So did you tell Natsu yet?" He asked her.
"I didn't say anything yet. I'm still scared to tell him." Lucy says sighing.
"How about I start it off for you." Arvalis offers help.
"Thank you Arvalis." Lucy smiles.
Heading over to the table with Lucy, the group looks at me. Erza being curious, she looks up at me with a serious face.
"What's going on?" Erza asked
"Natsu, there is some dire news you need to know." Arvalis begins catching everyone's attention.
"Yeah? What's up?" Natsu asks
"Lucy here has something to tell you, but I do want you to have an open mind." Arvalis then turns to the side and gestures Lucy to step forward.
"Natsu...I....I'm pregnant." Lucy says as everyone was shocked.
"Y-Your pregnant?" Gray was shocked
"Oh cool! I'm going to be a father!!!" Natsu was all so happy and fired up.
"Congratulations Lucy." Erza says as Wendy was a bit flushed in the face hearing this.
"Congratulatory is in order." Carla says as the camaraderie of the group plus more happened.
The party tends to never stop in Fairy Tail all while Lucy couldn't drink. A new adventure unfolds for our celestial wizard!
