Chapter 16 - About a Thing

Danilo

He worked flawlessly as he asked the models to turn time and time again. His face twisted into a cute pout as he took a needle and fixed whatever he needed too. His workmanship was the neatest I had ever seen. It brought a designer quality to clothes that you would have had to pay thousands for.

I saw the other stitchers work but his… was special.

I stood there for a minute or two until Stephanie, the vulture, saw me. She perked up. Her boob implants shook with her as a bright smile spread across her lips. "Danilo!" She jumped and waved highly.

I gave her a small smile before I turned and walked away. Hopefully Dove didn't see me because that would definitely kill the element of surprise.

With a quick walk to my private elevator, I went up to my office. My managers and supervisors were running up and down as the phones were ringing. The VIPs were giving their final reservations for tomorrow's events and now that everyone knew Pa and Pai were coming, it was chaos.

Miley ran past me in sneakers. Barely surviving with the heels from yesterday. She gave me a friendly smile and handed me my morning coffee from a cafe down the street before she disappeared once again.

I entered and attended to a few emails before she came in with the day's agenda.

"Out of the stitchers, which ones are done?" I eyed the pictures as I added a few notes for a few pants to be fixed and shirts.

"I believe the jackets, dresses and belts are done so far. The rest still need lots of work."

I nodded and hummed for a second. "You can offer them to go home and rest for the day so they're ready for tomorrow. If they'd like to work they can collaborate with the other stitchers. They'd get extra pay for their efforts."

She quickly jotted it down, "Sure thing. I'll go right now and get it ready. Some of the models are ready. Would you like for me to call Stephanie and them up?"

"If you must," I groaned, which got me a small laugh from her.

Within seconds Stephanie was up with her team and the models I saw Dove working with. Seeing it up close was a sight and I couldn't help but smile. This was exactly what I had envisioned.

"It's excellent work," I smiled as I ran my hand over the cow print leather jacket design. It was inspired by Pa's jet seats and I knew he would love it. "The stitchers did a good job."

"The jackets need some work," she shrugged. "The stitcher for those broke his leg or something. It's probably what he gets for leaving the office early yesterday. I was the last one to leave."

I had to keep my surprise at bay before I pointed out that I was here until 3am. Yet that would spark a debate. "Oh," I pretended to be impressed, then took Miley's iPad and went to the login list. "Shows you left at 3pm actually yesterday. Two hours early."

Her face flushed and her team tried to keep their giggles at bay. "Maybe I was confused."

I hummed, "Confusion can do that. Pointing out and giving orders is hard work." I let out a sarcastic laugh and I was sure everyone could sense my irritation. "This could have been prevented if my plans were executed instead of being tweaked. In the future let's remember that. I understand it's your first time working on such a big collection therefore I'll be lenient. Next time won't be the same."

They all hurriedly nodded before I sent them out.

The morning and afternoon went by quickly. It was about to be knock off time and I was eager to get home to take a well deserved nap. Yet things didn't always go to plan.

My elevator pinged and I heard the clicking of spurs on the floor. Miley who was seated opposite me at my desk looked at me with large eyes and I was sure I mirrored the horror.

"What kind of office be so dreadful? Ain't no skin rugs anywhere. Compressed even. Fofo, ain't it depressing?"

"Very depressing," Pai laughed and the small giggle of Bunky was heard as he rapidly spoke in Portuguese.

I shot up from my seat and rushed out of my office. Pa stood inspecting a fake pot plant with a frown. He was dressed in a black tracksuit, matching Cowboy hat, black leather cowboy boots that had a gold toe tip and golden spurs.

Pai was dressed similarly with black jeans, a matching tight jersey and the same boots without the spurs. Bunky was dressed up in a cow onesie and his golden hair tied up into two pigtails to make it look like he had bull horns.

"Nunca vi um touro mais fofo na minha vida!" I smiled as I jogged to him then scooped him from Pai's arms. He let out a loud laugh as I kissed his cheeks and tickled his chubby sides. (I ain't never seen a Bull more cute in my life!)

"I guess our appearance is not welcomed because we're not getting hugs," Pai chuckled as he moved his sunglasses to the top of his head. I let out a laugh before hugging him as well followed by Pa. "I thought you were only coming in the morning."

"We changed our minds," Pa grinned. "We ain't been to Miami in a minute and we booked some fancy hotel."

"You changed your mind and said we'd sleep over at the house," Pai corrected him.

Pa blinked for a second before he let out a sigh. "I completely forgot about that. So then why did we come early?"

"You said you missed them."

"I think you missed them," he rolled his eyes. "Anyway why don't you take Bunky for a tour whilst Bucky and I quickly catch up?"

"I don't know the building," Pai frowned as I handed him Bunky.

"You'll figure it out," he gave him a very X-rated kiss which made Pai dizzy enough for him to leave without a complaint. We both watched him leave before we went to my office. "Okay the yacht will be here by tomorrow morning and I booked the DJ's. This is a secret operation. Fofo can't know about a thing."
