"Who is Arlong?" Luffy said, walking towards the Fish-Men.
"Arlong is my name. Who's asking?" Arlong asked.
"I see. I'm Luffy," Luffy replied.
"Luffy? And who are you?" Arlong asked again.
"A pirate," Luffy answered once more.
"And what does a pirate want from me?"
With a swift movement, Luffy rushed toward Arlong and punched him in the chin, sending him crashing into the wall surrounding Arlong Park.
"Arlong-san!" the pirates shouted in shock upon seeing him get hit.
"What the hell are you?!" Arlong asked from the ground.
"Don't you dare make my navigator cry!" Luffy shouted angrily, remembering Nami.
"Damn you!"
"Who the hell do you think you are?!"
The Fish-Men lunged to attack Luffy, but Sanji intervened.
"Step aside, you nuisances!"
With rapid kicks, Sanji knocked all the Fish-Men away.
"Jeez, you can't just barge in so recklessly," Sanji said.
"I wouldn't lose even if I were alone," Luffy replied.
The rest of the crew approached, and Oliver walked by, stepping on a few Fish-Men.
"How are some of the ones I hit still able to stand?" Oliver said, pressing his foot down on the head of a Fish-Man with multiple circular cuts on his body.
"Idiot, when did I ever say I was worried about you? What I mean is, don't hog all the fun for yourself," Sanji responded to Luffy.
"I agree with the cook; I want to beat up a few more," Oliver said.
"I see," Luffy replied.
"I don't mind if you take care of all of them, Luffy," Usopp said, a little scared.
"You've got some guts," Zoro said, seeing Usopp's courage.
"Pirates, huh? I see. So that's the bond between you all," Arlong said, still lying on the ground.
The townspeople watched, unable to pass due to Johnny and Yosaku blocking the way.
"Hey, who are those guys?" a villager asked.
"If they can't win, no one in the East Blue can," Johnny answered.
"If you insist on joining this fight, you'll have to go over our dead bodies!" Yosaku shouted as he and Johnny raised their swords to block the path.
"Why are you going so far?! You have no reason to fight!" Genzo asked.
"Nami-Aneki was crying," Johnny said.
"We have more than one reason to give our lives!" Yosaku said.
Back with the Fish-Men, Arlong looked at everyone, his gaze locking onto Oliver, thinking he must be the monster.
"So, your goal was Nami from the start? What can just four humans do?" Arlong asked, laughing at them.
"Silence, legged fish. Hearing a mere fish talk so arrogantly disgusts me a little," Oliver said.
"Huh? I suppose you're the monster," Arlong said, looking at Oliver.
"Well, I guess the other fish called me that," Oliver said, stepping on a Fish-Man.
"Idiots! We'll serve you as food for the fish!" Hatchan said, before making a trumpet sound with his mouth. "Come out, Momoo!"
The water in Arlong Park's pool began to rise.
"What?! What?! What's happening?!" Usopp asked, terrified.
A giant sea monster cow emerged from the water, crying, with a lump on its head.
"It appeared! It's a monster!" Usopp screamed in total fear.
"Ah, it's just him," Luffy said, looking at Momoo.
"He was one of the Fish-Men's companions?" Sanji wondered.
Momoo saw Luffy and Sanji, got scared, and started retreating into the water.
"Wait, Momoo! Where are you going?!" Hatchan asked.
"Momoo, what do you think you're doing?!" Arlong asked angrily. "If you want to escape, I won't stop you, but you know what will happen, right?"
Feeling Arlong's threat, Momoo charged straight at them.
Seeing Momoo attack, the Fish-Men joined him in the assault.
Everyone prepared to fight, but Luffy stopped them.
"Leave them to me! I'll take care of them all!"
Angry, Luffy stomped on the ground, sinking his feet into it.
The Fish-Men rushed toward Luffy, but he started spinning rapidly, hitting them all.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Zoro said.
After finishing his spin, Luffy stretched his arms, grabbing Momoo by the horns.
The Fish-Men were shocked to see that Luffy had a Devil Fruit, but they couldn't remain surprised for long, as Luffy started swinging Momoo, smashing the Fish-Men before throwing him far away.
"I didn't come to fight these guys! The one I want to fight is you!" Luffy shouted angrily, pointing at Arlong.
"This is great. I was planning to kill you!" Arlong said, furious that all his nakamas had been defeated.
"If it's going to end like this, we should fight too," Kuroobi said.
"The strongest ones have finally shown up," Zoro said.
"How dare you hurt our comrades?!" Hatchan shouted angrily.
"Arlong-san, we'll handle them!" Kuroobi said.
"Five against four? I don't think you have much of an advantage," Oliver said.
"Count again."
A Fishman shot out of the water, punching Oliver and sending him crashing through Arlong Park.
'There's another change. Luckily, he came after me,' Oliver thought as he got up from the rubble.
He looked at the Fishman, who was quite muscular, with greenish-brown skin and the features of an eel.
Hatchan prepared himself and expelled his ink, shooting it directly at Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. The latter two managed to dodge it, but Luffy, whose feet were trapped, couldn't move out of the way.
Hatchan lifted a chunk of rubble and tried to crush Luffy, but thanks to Sanji's intervention, he was unharmed.
"Damn it, looks like I ended up following an extremely stupid captain," Sanji said, breaking the rubble apart.
The eel Fishman charged straight at Sanji to strike him, but Oliver threw a piece of debris directly at his head, knocking him into the water.
"You and I are gonna fight, steroid fish," Oliver said with a grin.
Usopp tried to free Luffy but couldn't do it just by pulling.
Oliver stepped on the ground, breaking it into sections, allowing Luffy to be freed.
"Come on, steroid fish!"
Oliver rushed toward the eel Fishman, who had just emerged from the water.
'I have to make sure I gain the greatest advantage possible, and with Luffy freed, I won't have to worry about anyone getting hurt more than necessary,' Oliver thought as he prepared to fight.
The rest were already about to battle their respective opponents.
"I'll take care of the octopus," Zoro said, drawing his only katana.
"Roronoa Zoro!"
Hatchan pulled out six swords, pointing them at Zoro.
"Your katana won't be able to defeat my six swords."
"Don't tell me I have to fight that guy," Chew said, looking at Usopp.
"I-I'm not afraid of you!" Usopp said, trembling with his slingshot ready.
"You look like you're about to faint just from fear…"
Chew stepped closer, and in his panic, Usopp accidentally released his slingshot, launching a rotten egg straight into Chew's face.
Usopp, realizing what he had just done, froze in shock.
"YOU!" Chew shouted angrily.
Usopp took off running in terror while Chew chased after him.
"And I guess I'll have to fight you," Sanji said, looking at Kuroobi.
Meanwhile, Oliver was exchanging blows with the Fishman, who clearly had the upper hand.
Their fists clashed violently, sending up small clouds of dust and splashes of water with each impact.
Oliver kept a low, centered stance, sliding his feet while throwing precise punches, never missing a single strike. His opponent, on the other hand, relied on brute force, trying to overpower Oliver's attacks.
They were evenly matched in speed, but the Fishman's superior strength was evident with every hit.
'Damn it, if this keeps up, he'll push me back. I need to be faster.'
Oliver tried to increase the speed of his strikes, but in a moment of carelessness, the Fishman attempted to attack him from the left flank. Forced to shift his stance, Oliver used Hoplomachia, blocking the strike with his forearm.
"Hah! You're fast for a mere human!" the Fishman scoffed with a grin, throwing a straight punch at full speed.
Oliver tilted his body to block the attack, but as soon as the Fishman's fist touched him, he felt a jolt of electricity surge through his entire body, breaking his stance and leaving him open for a punch to the face. The blow sent him crashing straight into one of Arlong Park's walls.
"Don't get cocky, human! I'm an eel, and I can tear you to pieces easily!" the Fishman shouted.
"Of course… there had to be something weird," Oliver muttered, spitting out blood.
