(Ayra's POV)
I let out a slow breath, trying to steady my nerves as Nana's piercing gaze locked onto mine.
I sighed, trying to steer the conversation away.
"Nana, it's nothing serious. You don't have to worry about this. It's being handled. You should just focus on resting."
But she was already sitting up straighter, and the look on her face told me she wasn't backing down.
"Ayra, I am not a fragile old woman who needs to be sheltered. Tell me everything I need to know."
I hesitated. She wouldn't let this go. I knew her well enough to understand that once she set her mind on something, there was no changing it.
I exchanged a glance with Steven, who nodded slightly as if giving me silent permission to reveal the truth.
Taking a deep breath, I spoke carefully. "I'll start with Steven. He's not just my secretary—He's Garry's son and my secret bodyguard."
Nana's lips parted slightly, her eyes flicking to Steven as if seeing him for the first time.
