Night comes as the quartet is heading towards the castle at the center of the city, the castle is very big and beautiful despite the current state of the environment. There are torches and candles lighting the outside as energy crystal stones/magic stones are use to produce light indoors.
"It almost looks like my home." Twenny says as she observes the castle, "Though the materials are lame." The trio froze at her words as Twenny walks ahead of them, she turns back to them. "What?" they keep silent and she shrugs continuing to the castle.
The trio follow her inside to the main hall just after entering the castle, its glowy, classy, nobly, royalty. Everything rich nobles like to see in a castle, Flint, Aku and Chuck are amazed by the room. Twenny walks over to a glass window and notices something stuck between her teeth and tries to take it out.
A big door opens on the other side of the entrance, a stream of servant march into the room surprising the trio, Twenny has no idea. The servants are carrying food and drink into the room with some even bringing ice sculptors of the heroes though mostly Chuck. The trio goes, "Waaooww!" with bright stary eyes.
Twenny turns to see the cause and is shocked by the number of people in the room, her thoughts. "Crap, I didn't notice this many people in here! And I was... I was doing nothing, just checking myself in the mirror is all." Twenny gives a bright smile and joins the trio.
They observe as servant after servant drop things in the giant hall as it's filled with a lot of tables. Razzle and Zephan walk into the room as they see the quartet gazing at the food before them, Razzle steps before them. "Greetings everyone, I'd like to welcome you to my humble abode." Twenny looks at Razzle then at the castle as her thoughts, "What kind 'a humble abode is this?"
Zephan stands before them, "This is just a way to thank you. I have sent a letter to the king of your exploits." Twenny's thoughts though frustrated, "Just gre~at, now I gotta deal with some king who want as us prote~ctors." Her last word sounded more like mockery. Zephan continues, "I believe the king would like to see you all in the capital to thank you personally for saving Frishai."
Flint feels proud, he remembers his beginning up to this point as a smile bloom on his face. Aku remembers of the past training she went through, the part she begged in tears to stop yet Twenny sucked on fruits as Aku wet hersel- ahem. Chuck's mind is... let's not go there. The trio has come so far that they felt ready for anything.
The trio exchange glance then Flint steps forward, "We'd be delighted to me- "
Twenny interrupts, "Train."
Everyone is surprised, Chuck stand before Twenny. "Miss Twenny please reconsider, we've got the chance to be approved by the king as heroes. Just thing of the fame and gir- ahem respect we could get from this."
Twenny smiles, "I have reconsidered, and it's a waste. Wouldn't it be better if your levels were higher? Keep in mind the Aberrant Horror is still at large and might attack at any time. Would you prefer to being famous to actually being able to defeat that thing?" Her words sink deep into them as they ponder over it though Chuck looks like he's trying to shun the future praises he could hear.
Zephan steps up to Twenny, "Princess Twenny." Twenny's thoughts, "Princess?" Zephan continues, "I do not know how you got to meet with them but I do believe there's something to gain in relaxing and unwinding for a while. I think it should be alright if they meet the king and then continue their training later after they have had a bit of fun."
Twenny holds her chin as she's in deep thought. "What she's saying makes sense but no matter how I look at it I can't lift these guys to level 200 in 200 years. With how the invaders are I'll assume 150 years to be safe. The village training ground I made has the densest EP concentration similar to the Monster realm, from here on out they can't level up as quickly as they use to." She glances at the trio.
Chuck's mind, "Is she thinking about letting us go to the royal capital?" A broad grin is plastered on his face.
Flint's mind, "Though Teacher is right, it would be nice to not worry about training or fighting for a while."
But for Aku, the sight of Twenny holding her chin sends a chill down her spine, "This can't be good. Whenever she's like this she's definitely worried about something, what could make her worry so much."
Twenny looks back at Zephan as her thoughts. "My mission is to help the agent reach level 200, if he doesn't want to reach level 200, I can't force them or scare them." Twenny looks at a big chandelier hanging in the hall. "*Sighs* Guess there's nothing wrong with a little vacation." Twenny looks down as her thoughts, "Maybe I can get Mother to make a leveling farm to help Flint and the other agents to speed the leveling up a bit."
Chuck jumps with joy, "Ya-hoo!" Flint smiles and nods gently but Aku stares at Twenny and sighs, her thoughts. "I guess I can unwind at this point."
Zephan smiles at Twenny and Twenny returns the smile. Zephan turns as a stage is being prepared in the hall. "I hired musicians and actors to put on a show for us tonight." She walks up to a table right before the stage, Razzle gestures them to follow as they all take a seat.
Coincidentally, Chuck is right next to Zephan and is surprising in full control. Maybe he looks too serious, seems like he's retraining himself from hitting on her. Or it could be the knife Aku is pointing at his stomach.
The actors put on a play as they enjoy it with Twenny enjoying the how horrible the dramatic special effects are. The show comes to an end as it's deep in the night.
Twenny gets up on, "Guess it's late, time to hit the hay."
Aku raises a brow, "You know it's a bed, right?"
Twenny shakes her head, "I'll never call that bag of grass a bed."
Flint sheds a tear as he stares at the stage, he puts his hand on his chest. "That was so touching."
Twenny stops and looks back, her thoughts, "How is this touching? It's a magic version of Remero and Junieta, how is that touching?! Remero got cursed and Junieta kissed him to share the curse so they died kissing." She looks at the roof as her thoughts. "Now that I think about it, didn't Leo make cool poses whenever he lost during spars? He said he wanted to make his end flashy and cool."
Twenny remembers the actors final act of kissing till they fall down and die. She shudders, "Brrr, this ending is the creepiest."
Aku looks at Twenny with a confused look, "Hasn't she ever kissed anyone before? Not even family?" Flint hears this, "*Chuckle* I guess Teacher will always be Teacher."
Just as the quartet is about to walk out of the main hall. "Excuse me, Sir Chuck may I have a moment of your time?" Chuck turns to see Zephan asking.
Flint and Aku's expression darken as their thoughts, "We're dead!" Chuck walks to Zephan as the duo's thoughts, "Don't say or do anything stupid!"
Chuck gives a wry smile, "Why do I feel like I can hear their voices?"
Razzle orders the servants to give the food out to the soldiers specifically the leaders as they will come to the castle very early in the morning to celebrate. Twenny doesn't really care so she's the first to leave, followed by the duo as they have worried expressions.
