There is a stat range for each rank and they go as:
For the three arcane stats (magic, aura and mind)
novice 0-5(F)
starter 6-12(E)
intermediate 13-20(D)
advanced 21-35(C)
ultimate 36-49(B)
king 50-80(A)
emperor 81-149(S)
saint 150+ (EX)
For other stats
novice 15-25
starter 26-40
intermediate 41-60
advanced 61-75
ultimate 76-99
king 100-149
emperor 150-199
saint 200+
