What's your relationship with Cris?" Hilda asked
"Cris?? I have no relationship with him"
"Then how come he thinks of you and talks about you and how he gets hurt by things you do when you're a junior here!!!!" Hilda said
"I don't have time for all of this," she said and tried to leave but Hilda's friend held her and Hilda slapped her
Bea got so angry
"Let me go!!!" She shrouded
"You're lucky I have respect for my seniors!!! Next time you want someone to bully or scare please my thoughts should never cross your mind because I swear you have no idea what I can do, don't assume that my staying out of people's business means to you that I am timid, trust me I am just being cool" Bea said with a warning face that scared Hilda but she put herself together
"You are brave, right? I will humble you. You have made the worst enemy possible in this school" Hilda said
"All this because of a guy is how this baffles me. If he likes you he wouldn't be thinking about another girl and besides he's not your property if I want Cris trust me I will get him" she said and walked past her to leave
Cris rested on the second stair steel as he listened to them, they were too loud he chose to stay there he smiled when Bea fought back
"That's my girl" he murmured and got even more excited when she said her last words
"So you wanted me and that's why I am yours," he said
Bea got closer to the first step, ready to get down from there when she felt a push, she turned around and saw Hilda smiling, she lost her balance and screamed as she was on her way down, Cris saw this and came to her rescue he pushed her to the safe space when he realized he lost his footing too
With a smile, he went down
Bea came to see him and called the ambulance with the help of Anita
They rushed him to the hospital
"How long have I been unconscious" Cris asked
"Three hours you're really lucky you didn't hurt your head badly and just have some bruises," the doctor said
"Is there anyone here for me"
"Yes the three girls who came with you here, they have informed your parents and they said they're on their way"
"Doc on your way out call me Bea," he said
And the doctor did exactly that, Hilda left the place in anger when he requested for Bea
When she got inside, he asked her to sit on the chair beside him
"Are you ok? Did you get hurt?" He asked
"I should be the one asking you, I am ok, and thank you for saving me. I had been too cruel to you the other time"
"No you just said what was on your mind and I am glad you saw such a side of me. I don't want to hide myself away from you, Bea I know now is not the right time but I like you and want you to be around me, who knows you might even change me for the better" he said and Bea smiled
"So does your smile mean yes"
"Yes but we're friends"
"Sure," Cris said
"In my mind, your statement is ''I am yours" that's the answer I gave to it," he thought with a smile looking at her
"Hey listen there's a lot of ugly things about me and I have done a lot of ugly things too as a payback for risking my life for yours promise me no matter what you hear about me, no matter what you see me doing you will stay by my side do you promise"
"Yes," Bea said out of gratitude
"Can you keep your promise?"
"Yes," she said but
"You doubt me, I will prove you wrong that I can be trusted and loyal," she said and Cris smiled
"After I get better I am going to tell you everything," he thought
"Leave here before my parents come, they're going to ask so many questions, I will see you at school," he said and Bea understood because they were going to ask how he got hurt
He couldn't attend classes because he was told to rest and his parents made sure of that
Three days later he went back to school
"How did you get yourself into all that?" Nick asked
"I didn't think Hilda was that crazy she almost killed my Lady. I'm going to teach her a lesson but firstly I bet this school was so peaceful since I wasn't around and now it's time to cause chaos but let me meet my lady first" he said and went to Bea's class
She saw him and smiled
"First time you saw me and was happy I didn't have to force you for that, this plan this pain was all worth it"
She went closer to him and those who saw them were looking at them so much that Bea felt uncomfortable, she held his hand and took him to somewhere quiet
"Was this all it had to take to get you doing this?" he said and Bea realized she was still holding his hand
"Sorry, I couldn't stand their eyes on us"
"Well you have to get used to it and just like I said you're going to hear and see things about me you're not gonna like but since you promised me you have no idea than to stick with me unless you are a promise breaker"
"Don't worry I won't break my promise"
"Wow I should get you to promise more," he said and she smiled
"So how are you?"
"I am ok, is this place your spot? I have never been around this side of the school" Cris said
"Yes no one knows this place They see it to be bushes but once you enter you get to see this awesome flower garden"
"Well I am glad you shared it with me"
"Give me your number"
"Huh???" Cris asked
"Your phone number," she said and she took his phone and dialed her number
"I couldn't reach those three days I was worried about you," she said
"Are you not scared of me"
"No why?"
"At first you called me a murderer"
"Well I heard those guys talking and I realized maybe it wasn't your fault"
"You do know that I made those guys say those words to you right?"
