Darren's POV
In the morning, I walked around the grounds, taking in the scenery and the sight of the ocean. I stood on a hill, letting the wind caress my frame as I watched the waves.
The crashing waves took my memory back to one of the trips I took with Björn on his Viking ship.
Björn's thrill for adventure burned fierce, igniting the same passion in his brother and all the people who followed him. He was their beacon of hope as they scoured the lands for a place to settle.
He had taken me to their first home, long before they became werewolves. Gregory had accompanied us, mostly staying below deck as Björn kept me company amidst the splashing salty waters.
He told me his stories of conquest, tearing his enemies apart as he gave them no mercy while relishing in the carnality of human pleasures.
