The oxygen masks came down, and Traven helped Lucky secure hers before looking around to see if anyone else needed help. He helped a hysterical mother put the mask on her equally hysterical child. The poor boy looked terrified. Traven spoke to him, his voice soothing, telling him he just needed to be brave and that everything would be fine. It seemed to work, although the boy wanted Traven to stay with him. He was an adorable kid, with messy blond hair and huge blue eyes. Traven gave him a hug, and promised to come see him as soon as it was safe.
Lucky, seeing the panic spread like wildfire and hearing the terrified screams of the other passengers, closed her eyes and focused on being calm. Once she felt she had a handle on it, she pulled in and then pushed out the feelings of calmness and peace. It seemed to work, as the plane got a little quieter.
