As soon as the plane touched down in the grass, Terrance made the announcement that everyone had been waiting to hear.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that we have completed our rather unconventional landing in Washington, DC. Shuttles are waiting to take you to the main airport. Please remain seated, as we will need some time to set up the proper equipment for everyone to safely deplane."
This announcement was followed by a round of applause and cheering, and more than a few of the passengers were sobbing with relief. No one seemed to notice Lucky as she exited the cockpit, which was a good thing. She had a feeling this landing was going to be off the books. She wondered how it would be explained.
"You saved all of those people," Nyah told her, sounding awed. "I must say, this is a much better feeling than killing bad guys." Lucky rolled her eyes, with a smile.
