I was awake in the morning, trying to decide what I was going to wear on the hangout with Shuna later this day. I was seemingly fussing over my hair, and I was trying to meticulously pick out clothes that would make me look good. Selena has picked a somewhat modern world for us to attend, and I wanted to dress nice for the occasion.
"You know I can create something perfectly tailored for you right?" asked Selena as she materialized in my bedroom while I was shirtless. "Really?" I asked her as she nodded. "Of course, I can create virtually anything you know" said Selena as she now began to glow and what came forth was a nice polo shirt and some good looking denim jeans. They seemingly swapped with my current clothes immediately and I did admire the look in the mirror.
"What else can you do?" I asked her with a smile. "Anything. Why, you want to make a gift for your hang out?" she asked with a sly grin. My expression was cooled besides the faint blush that bloomed on my cheeks. I nodded to her as she began to glow again and this glow began to coalesce into another object. It was an orb with a word written on it. "What is it?" I asked her.
"A skill orb, it contains the extra skill ultra-speed regeneration" she said as my mouth widened in shock. I quickly asked one for me to be made as it was done and I immediately pressed it against my chest and I heard the distinct voice of the world saying I had gained the extra skill in question.
"I swear, your too overpowered" I said to her as she laughed and disappeared. I made sure I looked smart and went down stairs. I put my hand on the knob and I went through the door and was greeted by the ogre village. The view of the village never failed to surprise or invigorate me. It was a nice seen that differed from the modern world, a sight that was becoming increasingly rare in the world.
As I stepped out, I began to head towards the chiefs place, a place I planned on meeting up with Shuna for our outing. As I neared the house of the chief, I saw that Benimaru was standing there as if waiting for me. "Thomas, lets talk" he said as he strong armed me to the fields were we did practice. As we were alone, Benimaru stopped and looked at me with a strong glare, a wave of spirit washing over me.
"So, what are your intentions with my sister?" asked Benimaru calmly, yet his overflowing spirit was indicating anything but calm. I stood my ground, using my own spirit to combat his own spirit. "I am wanting to spend time with her" I said with a calm and steady voice. Our spirits seemed to clash until Shuna made it to the scene and our spirits were dispelled. "Hey Thomas, sorry im late" said Shuna as she walked over in a delicate dress. "No worries, was just talking with your brother" I said to her as I took her by the hand and entered the bar and exited to a new world.

The world we entered was a modern one, with high rise buildings, and the streets were paved very excellently. "Welcome to Karakura" I said to Shuna as we walked out, her cherry blossom pink hair swaying in the wind. Her twin white horns were hidden with some special illusion magic, making her seem human, even though her horns were a key part of her beauty.
"Wow, this looks amazing" said Shuna in awe. It was a world I was unfamiliar with but it still looked cool all the same. I think the time period was early 2000's if what Selena told me was correct. "Well, lets walk around" I said to Shuna as we began to explore the various streets associated with Karakura town.
It had a shopping district which was big but not too big. The shops offered things from dresses to even manga. "Anywhere in particular you wanna shop?" I asked her as she pointed to a toy store and a store that sold textiles. We visited the toy store first, and I remembered the gift for her stored in the vault. I figure I might give it to her at the end of our date.
As we entered the store, there seemed to be a variety of toys to be had like wands, Mario's and even Links. I'm pretty sure there was a Pikachu somewhere but I didn't see it very well. I let her pick one out as I browsed for a peace offering. Regardless of what universe, a gift for the parents of the girl is must, atleast I want to give a peace offering to her dad and brother.
'Maybe I'll search the vault later' I thought as Shuna returned with a Pikachu and princess Zelda doll. I ended up paying for it only being a couple hundred Yen. We walked out and went towards the textiles and as soon as she entered, it was like she switched on her perfessional switch. She was analyzing the fabrics thickness, feeling, and even its dye like she was analyzing a brick of gold.
She picked out a bunch of different fabrics, each a different shade of color and alternate colors altogether. She brought it to the front as I of coursed paid for it. "Man, what do you need so many textiles for?" I asked her, though I had a feeling why. "Well, I like making clothes and such, and the fabrics seemed nice here" she said with a quiet whisper.
I couldn't really fault her on that, considering her hobbies and interests. It was also quite cute watching her get quite flustered. It was like watching a comedy on a tv, except it was real life and all. I chuckled a little at her actions as I took her out of the textile store and we went to get some food.
The food here was quite delicious, especially the manju buns that was being solled by a sweet old lady called Agitogi Hime. She offered me extra for my girlfriend, and I could visibly feel the sweet kijin princess heat up as the old ladt winked at me as if she knew what was going on. Did women's intuition connect with each other, who knows? We then sat down in a park, enjoying the manju buns.
"So, you enjoying the place?" I asked her as she nodded, shewing on a manju bun. They were warm and steamy, indicating how fresh they were. It had a sweetness to it and was something I was beginning to grow fond of. "Yeah, I like enjoying new things" she said to me. I couldn't fault her for that, considering her status as a princess and even priestess.
"We can do this again you know" I said to her as her face seemed to blush hard, it spreading like a vicious rash. "Again.... a date" I heard her mutter, the last word catching me slightly off guard. I wasn't blind nor was I dense to see she was interested, at least a little bit. If it bloomed, I would accept it. I mean, wouldn't anybody enjoy a companion to spend their life with?
"I wouldn't mind doing this again, it was fun" she said as she finished her half of the manju buns. I chuckled a little as I pulled something out from the vault. It was the skill orb I had Selena make. Of course, it was a gift and a test of course to see what Selena could do, and I wasn't too disappointed as I had many ideas that could be used.
"An extra skill!" she shouted, drawing a few stares from the people in the park. I saw her blush begin to creep in again. "Are you sure you want to give this to me?" she asked in a hushed whisper. "Of course, who wouldn't want to give someone as pretty as you a gift" I said to her, my statement containing no lie or falsehood.
I saw her smile as she pressed the orb to her chest. Her body began to absorb it as it began to take hold of it. Her existence seemed to dip, as if it took some magicules to begin the instillation process. I had few thoughts on doing research on the subject but I felt it was something I could reliably cover anytime.
I tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears, and we were enjoying the sky. It was quite nice to look at and it looked like the evening was going to go without a hitch, and then a roar, multiple roars, permeated the area as we looked and saw a multitude of mask bearing monsters.
