Gojo pov
I wandered the halls of jujutsu high, coming back from the meeting with Gakuganji. The meeting was boring as usual, but I had some time to figure details out about what was going on around here and the events around itadoris death. As I wondered the halls, looking for Shoko, I had a thought running through my mind about the functions of this...sacred gear I was given by Thomas.
Sephiroth Graal, the cup used by Jesus at the last supper and contained the blood of Christ which allowed it to interfere and perceive the principles of life. From healing the bodies of those who are injured or diseased, to even manipulating the soul to some extent. It almost sounded like the work of the patch faced curse.What Nanami informed me about the spirit made me uneased with something like him existing in this world, and I had an item to counter his powers.
I looked up from my thoughts to see just the person I was looking for. Her tired eyes and body were always a dead give away to her. "Shoko!" I said in a tone of jubilation. Her eyes seemingly pinpointed me and she stopped in her tracks.
"Gojo" she said in her usual drawl. She was dressed in her white lab coat, a black shirt underneath, and her hair was flowing down to her waist. 'Man, what a difference' I thought as I recalled how she looked during our school days. The contrast was visibly so to the fact if you put them side by side, you could think they were two different people.
"Hey Shoko, I got something special for you" I said as I withdrew the second Sephiroth Graal from behind my back. the glistening silver, gold, and bronze cups gleamed in the sunlight streaming through the windows of the school building.
"Cups?" she asked with a dubious look to her face. "Come on Shoko, there's more to it than that" I said as I tossed them towars her. She caught them with relative ease and the way she looked at me was indicative of 'Explain idiot'. I got enough of those looks to immediately know what they meant.
I began to tell her of their function and the way her eyes widened felt unreal to her normally stoic face. "Are you serious?" she asked me as I nodded yes. Her jaw, if it could, would have dropped so low it would have crashed through the very floor and foundation of the school building.
"He just let you have it?" she asked as if that sounded like the most stupid thing ever to do. I could understand it, as just giving away an item like this was tantamount to handing over nuclear secrets to an enemy country. The graal especially was something of greater importance it could affect the world in total, it could even send the religious world into a righteous frenzy.
"I want you to use this as this can give us an advantage" I said to her as I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Before you equip it, I want to do something real quick" I said as she nodded, placing trust in me. I called for the power of the graal and began to restructure a few parts. I wanted to make sure her brain could handle it so she doesn't go into a coma. I planned on doing something similar to Yuji later.
I was able to feel the power flowing from my body to hers, altering its internal structure and removing certain weaknesses from her body, enhancing it to a certain degree. 'This should allow her to use it fully' I thought as I felt the alteration take place and when it finished I retracted my hand and she took in the second Sephiroth Graal.
I could feel a qualitative change coming about her, as if my graal and her Graal were linked in someway, considering how similar they looked anyway. After a few seconds she looked like she had a divine epiphany, which was essentially true in this case considering the cups unusual circumstances.
"I swear I need a drink" I heard her mutter and I could understand her sentiments regarding the situation. How many people get information on the conceptual principles of life, especially regarding how existence came about. It was quite like being presented a faded memory that was locked away during your younger years. It had an off puting feel to it.
"Fair enough, but just imagine the possibilities of such things Shoko. Imagine what we could do with this divine object" I said to her. "Besides, Thomas has a bunch of these things and he wouldn't give them to us if they cause irreparable harm" I finished as I saw her in a state of deep thinking.
"Wait, he has more of these things?!" she said with a loud tone. It was quite understandable considering that more objects like this one being in the hands of one person is quite a harrowing though to think about. Considering how nonchalant he was about it, I suspect there is something more powerful dwelling in the vault, waiting to be used.
"Anyhow, What your plan for this?" asked Shoko. I grinned as the thoughts began to swirl into my head like a typhoon. "I have many ideas and plans Shoko, with one of them involving Itadori" I said as she grinned. "I have an idea of what your thinking, and if it works it will turn the world upside down" she said with the most devilish grin as she walked and I tried to find said student.
It didn't take long for me to find the pink hair student, who really stood out among his peers. 'Maybe its something in genetics' I thought as my own hair color was the result of genetics. It made me wonder about his parents to an extent. "Oi, Yuji!" I shouted as the student turned to face me.
"Gojo sensei!" he shouted as he dashed over. I also waved over Thomas so he can oversee the process. "Let's go Yuji and Thomas" I said to them as I headed to the medical center as we had time before any events began. As we entered, the distinct stench of anti-septic and alcohol pervaded the air.
"So, Thomas and Yuji I have an idea" I said to them as I began to explain the idea to them. Thomas seemed inspired by the idea while Itadori just seemed intrigued yet confused by it. "I get where your coming from" said Thomas. "But, why am I involved?" Thomas asked me as I grinned.
"Well, I need protection from Sukuna in case he acts, I wanna analyze data to empower Yuji" I said to him. "But he wont be able to hurt you anyway" he countered and I chuckled. "Your not wrong, just wanted to take extra precautions as we are dealing with new stuff hear and we never know what my happen" I said as this was something nobody had dealt with, atleast to this magnitude.
"Fine" he said with a sigh as I saw him cover me in a yellow barrier that seemed to be full of no wholes to take advantage of. "Wait, Im lost here. What is going on?" asked Yuji as he looked very confused. It was understandable, even I felt confused about this sort of thing and I was the very peak of not being able to be understand. I am like an enigma, an anomaly in the jujutsu world.
"What Gojo is doing is he is gonna give you more strength essentially, making you stronger" explained Thomas, somewhat dumbing it down to an understandable level. "Okay" said Yuji seemingly understanding what is going on. I then began the process by analyzing Yuji and Sukuna's souls. I felt a brief connection made with Sukuna. "You dare mess with my soul? I figured you would be smarter----" he started until he finally got a good look at me.
"Your not patch face, what are you doing here?" he asked in anger. "Cause I can" I said as I already felt the understanding of his soul flow into my mind. I saw anger flash unto his face as he attempted to strike me with his technique but I pulled out of his soul scape. Using what knowledge I got, I began to make the subtle alterations.
Using the information imprinted on Sukunas soul, I was able to strengthen Yuji's resistance to his influence. With a cherry on top, I also understood Sukuna's technique which allowed me to modify Yuji's body to be imbued with it, making it instant instead of it taking a long while like it should.
"All done" I said with a grin as I explained what I did. "Are you serious? Awesome!" shouted Yuji as he left the hall in celebration. "You realized you just made a monster right?" asked Thomas as I grinned at him.
"Of course" I said as I grinned even larger, my ideals of a future world without the old bogies flashing through my mind.
[A/N: what will this do to the canon? Well lets screw the cannon. Not gonna lie, Introducing the Sephiroth Graal to Gojo may have upset the balance of the world, just a bit. Can't wait to see the chaos this will bring!].
