Liam remained kneeling on the cold stone floor, his head bowed, his body trembling with grief and despair. The girl's soft voice calling his name barely registered in his mind, his thoughts consumed by the weight of his guilt and the overwhelming sense of loss. Even as she gently lifted his face, her hands cupping his cheeks, he didn't react, his eyes staring blankly ahead.
It was only when his vision cleared that he finally recognized her.

"Lee," she said softly, her voice filled with a calmness that seemed out of place in the chaos of his emotions. "You need to relax your body. Let me help you."
Her fingers moved with practiced ease, pressing against the pressure points on his neck and shoulders, releasing the locks that had left him immobilized. As the last of the blocks were undone, a wave of relief washed over him, his body finally free from the paralyzing restraints.
