Milo's voice carried a teasing lilt as he stroked his chin, his thumb and index finger framing his jaw like a detective unraveling a mystery. His eyes narrowed, scrutinizing Felix's frame as if he could see beneath the fabric of his clothes and find some hidden secret.
Felix sighed, rolling his shoulders. "There's nothing like that. Things just… got complicated in ways I can't even understand myself."
