"You won't imagine what happened the other day when I went to the supermarket," Emily said. She was so excited to tell the story. Amber, on the other hand, wanted to know what happened because of how Emily made it sound so interesting.
"Tell me, please," Amber said.
"Well, there was this guy I met. He was looking so gorgeous and all that, and then there was me," she sounded like she was stifling a laugh. Amber chuckled.
"What is it? Please tell me," Amber asked.
"I was gawking at him and didn't even realize it. I was staring for too long until he noticed that I was staring."
"The moment he caught my eye, I wish the earth would have swallowed me. It was so embarrassing that he had to come over to me and say, 'You know you can take a picture, right?'" Amber burst out laughing.
"He said that?" Emily nodded.
"It was so embarrassing. Imagine the look on my face when he said that. I couldn't believe that I would be this embarrassed."
"That's so not nice of him," Amber said.
