"This is mine?" Isadora asked, in awe, staring at the portable house blending with the rock faces, and yellow lights coming from the windows.
"Yes, it's small but—"
"What do you mean by that? I love it!" She squeaked, placing her hands together.
Rav sneered at her outburst. "I'm glad you do, it is traditional for a crowned warrior to have one."
Isadora paused as she turned her eyes to Rav. "Crowned warrior?" He must be making a joke. "B-But I failed."
"Did you?"
"I was meant to kill the beast but I didn't."
"But you survived." He pointed out. "And besides, Kraven has already declared you did."
Rav noticed at the mention of Kraven's name—the pressure in the air shifted. His scarlet eyes observed as her expression fell and he mentally cursed himself for making a mistake like that.
He loved her cheerful expression and didn't want to ruin it.
In an instant, Rav's eye leveled and found the blood stains hidden under the oversized jacket she wore.
