The flames brushed pass Lucian igniting flames all over his body but he stood despite the roaring fire which rained over his head, " We were to catch the thief not scorch him to death " Lucian heard one of the man say.
" Well he resisted and even if we take him to the magistrate he would be released and would steal all over again, besides the baker is paying extra for him dead " another said.
The coordinator for the arrest gave some signals to the bulky man besides him, the brute nodded and walked to the mage and his helper that helped burnt the supposed thief.
He bent to the ear of the flame mage and whispered, " Gav says that's enough, let's go back for our reward ", the mage sighed as he gave a glance to the man that stood behind him.
The man's hands were eerily blue pointing to the mage's back, " Well I was getting drained anyway, amplification magic is hard " he said his hands returning to their original color.
With this the mage's flames reduced drastically till it wasn't even potent enough to set woods on fire, " Withdraw " the brute shouted to the two combat officers that knocked Lucian down.
" Wasn't the peep supposed to be lying on the ground why is he up " one of the combat officers said, " So I can give a surprise attack " a childish voice said and both of the officers felt the wind knocked out of thier bodies.
Looking down simultaneously they saw the dark blue haired kid's fists on their abdomens, for a moment time seemed to have stopped as two adult bodies fell to the ground unconscious.
The mage and amplifier were dazed, the flame mage was a weak person no doubt but the amplifier was a D rank, so when he amplified the firepower of an F rank mage the power they produced would have been able to destroy a house in seconds.
Yet a little boy was exposed to that amount of heat and walked out with only burnt clothes, " This is absurd…, Impossible… " the mage cried as Lucian began to stretch his body.
Standing over the knocked out combat officers he ripped his burnt shirt, it only darkened his skin, being quite excited to see a mage for the first time he began to stretch.
His sharp calm eyes darted at the four remaining Civil Defense Officers, he wasn't paying attention during their arrival but if they really wanted him dead he had to get serious.
They were all dressed in some kind of green and brown uniform with a black cape, it was a green shirt and brown pants, they had a mechanical instrument at their waist and it was attached to another small machine at their wrist.
Being covered by their capes were valves of ropes, Lucian didn't understand it's uses now but he had to fight instead of studying his opponents.

He charged at them with an explosive force, a wild thrill running through him, reminding him of his epic fights with Mr Hikaru, Before the mage could understand what was happening he was grabbed on the face and bashed onto the cold hard ground.
Automatically he joined his comrades in the land of unconsciousness, The Amplifier was next, Lucian bent over to the ground with his hands on grass and spun at three hundred and sixty degree angle with one of his legs outstretched.
This tripped the Amplifier but Lucian wasn't doing he lunged a kick and the amplifier 's jaw before he could fully touch the ground, blood platelets spilled out off his mouth as he yet joined his comrades.
Springing up Lucian had to back step as he avoided a huge sword that threatened to chop his head of, this was the work of the brute, he was with a weapon which was a ' great sword '.
Having gone through training with someone that wanted him dead he had fully mastered the use of heavy close combat weaponry, it had a lot of pro's and yet a lot of con's.
A con being it takes time to ready another attack after being swung, Lucian up understood this and went for a throat strike, as his right hand connected with the man's thick neck, he felt like he was hitting a tree's bark.
But he didn't waiver or wane but instead went for an elbow hit to the nose with his left arm, * Arghhh *, the man exclaimed dropping his sword and Lucian grabbed it before it hit the ground and slashed for the man's shoulder rendering him incapable of fighting.
The last man stood in utter awe, his body began trembling as he subconsciously stepped back, " Monster " he said faint yet shakey.
A big stupid smile appeared on Lucian's face, it was clear he was enjoying this, he jumped on one foot and switch to the other on the next jump completing a boxer taunt.
As he jumped he stretch himself letting his eyes wander over the defeated officers as they peaceful lay on the ground like people without a care in the world.
The only exception was the brute shouting loudly with a huge blade planted deeply into his left shoulder, he made sure he didn't look at the last man standing just to let sure the fear sink into his opponents mind.
After a while he stopped and got into a sprinting stance, * BOOM *, a crater emerged as he closed the distance between them staring straight into the man's fearful eyes.
Lucian jumped immediately he reached the man and launched a kick mid air, his kick was meet with some metal resistance, to counter this he spun himself landing a kick at every 360° turn.
Gravity did it job and he was forced to cushion his fall after the fifth kick, he did a backflip and threw his fist immediately he's feet reached the ground.
As it turns out the only help of the kicks were to push the man backwards, " What's your name? " Lucian asked his fist slamming into the ever standing man, to which he got no response.
He released more lethal and accurate punches each finding the man in perfect precision but all did nothing as he was hitting an iron breastplate.
" ENOUGH " The man screamed countering one of Lucian's punch with one of his own, This made Lucian stop his consistent attacks and just gaze at the man.
He jumped some meters away, " Oh little boy of the dark mansion, I hereby pronounce you a curse to our unstained world and an anomaly that must be wiped out " he announced drawing a nunchaku from a hidden utility belt on his waist.
