"GAH!" She flailed back so hard she almost rolled off the bed, her heart slamming against her ribs. "What the—?! What are you doing?!"
Zorath didn't even blink. "Watching."
"Watching?!" She gaped, clutching the blanket like it was a shield. "What kind of creepy—?! Why?! How long?!"
He tilted his head, tail lazily flicking behind him. "A while."
Thalina's skin prickled. "Why?"
Zorath propped his chin on one fist, completely unbothered. "I'm just trying to figure out how something so small snores so loudly."
Thalina choked on air.
"What—?!" Her face went up in flames. "I do not snore that loudly!"
Zorath smirked. "The walls disagree."
"Liar!"
"I considered waking you up, but I feared for my ears." He said with a smug smile as he added "You were already making so much noise. If I woke you up, who knows how much louder you'd get?"
Thalina grabbed the nearest pillow stuffed with moss and feathers and launched it at his head.
