"You! What did you say?"
"I said, if you can do it, then go ahead and try."
Such an arrogant attitude made Moslian's heart uneasy. From the moment he started confronting this man, he had been completely suppressed.
No matter what techniques or tactics he used, they were all completely restrained by him.
"I don't believe it! Do you think you can save everyone?"
Moslian's proud heart couldn't accept his own failure and resorted to almost a desperate act of mutual destruction.
He suddenly crushed the skeleton head in his hand, followed by a piercing wail that spread in all directions.
This was the signal for the magic technique to start, indicating that the evil compound he had implanted in the sealed people's bodies had begun to take effect.
It wouldn't take long before this place turned into a paradise for living corpses, filled with death and wailing.
However...
As time slowly passed, nothing special happened. Outside, the scene was shrouded in black fog and couldn't be seen, but inside the manor, everyone was equally baffled, wondering what the other side was up to.
"How is this possible? Why has it failed?"
Moslian's face was full of terror: "Is it the Holy Water? Is it the Holy Water you sold? That's impossible! I secretly inspected the Holy Water you sold, even tasted it myself! It was just plain water with no energy!
How is this possible! How did you do it?"
"Of course, the Holy Water is fake; otherwise, how could I deceive you? If I laid all my cards on the table, would it still be called a trump card?"
Lette sighed: "Seeing you're so pitiful, I'll tell you. Actually, when I was helping them with the Holy Water, I casually left a hidden Divine Curse on the containers."
Given your arrogant attitude, you probably only checked the Holy Water, found it useless, and then eagerly came to catch me, right?
With your level of intellect, to have climbed so quickly in the Tower of Truth, you must have some connections, right?"
"You! I'll kill you!"
Moslian, having been consecutively struck, was already in a frenzied state. He raised the Magic Wand in hand in anger, preparing to unleash a powerful Holy level spell.
However, how could his speed possibly match Lette's without chanting?
"Holy level Divine Spell! Holy Coffin!"
Crack!
A phantom appeared beside Moslian, followed by long panels formed by Holy Light surrounding him, coming together with a bang to create a coffin, trapping him inside.
"Upper Divine Curse! Twelve Scepter Light Prison"
With one command, twelve Light Wands of various forms appeared around the Holy Crown, piercing into the Holy Coffin like sharp swords.
Moslian let out a wail, then fell silent, leaving behind only a porcupine-like Holy Light coffin standing there.
"Lilith, go read his memory."
Possessing Emily, Lilith shook her head repeatedly: "You really think I'm not afraid of the Holy Light? He's like a glow stick now, no way I'm going!
Let him out, and I'll read his soul."
"Let him out? What if this old guy has other tricks? The people from the Tower of Truth are lunatics; we can't let our guard down."
"Then at least open a gap..."
Hearing this, Lette thought for a moment, then waved a hand. The long panel at the front of the Holy Coffin dissipated, revealing a wretched Moslian.
At that moment, he was barely clinging to life, with twelve Light Wands piercing through him and being suppressed by the Holy Coffin, yet still holding on.
Seeing this, Lilith flew out from Emily, reforming her body.
"Humph! The hottest commodity in Hell is immortality. People are really strange, treating a curse as a blessing, poison as a miracle drug."
"What! The hottest commodity in Hell! And it's not my autograph!"
"Who would buy something so terrifying?"
The little succubus flapped her wings to the Holy Coffin, reaching her hand to Moslian's head, starting to read his memory.
Yet the next moment, Lette's expression changed dramatically: "Lilith! Step back!"
"Ahhhhh!"
Moslian, who had barely any breath left, suddenly let out a piercing scream, with high-energy spiritual light erupting from his features, causing his life force to fluctuate violently!
His flesh turned into black mud, sticking to Lilith's arm. Just as she struggled to break free, Lette appeared next to her in a flash of gold.
Clang!
The Light Blade gathered in Lette's hand, instantly severing Lilith's forearm. Holding her in his embrace, he tossed the Light Blade while lifting two fingers upwards.
The Light Blade pinned Moslian firmly within the Holy Coffin, and the newly formed long panel resealed him.
Boom!!!
A violent explosion wave swept across, flinging people around and flattening most of the manor.
Fortunately, an invisible Light Barrier locked the shockwave within a certain range, and everyone only got slightly injured.
"Are you okay?"
Lilith curled up in Lette's arms, pouting with a bit of grievance: "It hurts a little..."
Lette ruffled her hair gently: "I'm sorry; I'll make it up to you later."
"You said it!"
Instantly spirited, a wisp of black smoke emerged from Lilith's severed arm, reforming back to its original shape.
"I did say... But did you get any useful information?"
"The time was too short... But! Who am I but Lady Lilith?"
As she spoke, Lilith took flight, planting a kiss on Lette's cheek. A large stream of fragmented information surged into Lette's mind.
"This... Is that how it is? The people from the Tower of Truth really deserve death!"
Lette seemed disgusted, spitting viciously in the direction of Moslian's explosion.
Based on the information Lilith conveyed, the Witch's Plan was another heinous act trampling human principles!
These deranged people used forbidden alchemy to alter the souls of young girls.
These girls, upon marriage and conception, would invariably bear daughters.
During the gestation of the next generation, the mother's soul would gradually wither, transferring energy to her child, along with the malicious Alchemy Poison Curse.
And at the moment of childbirth, when the soul completely perished.
They dared to think that through one generation after another, they would breed an individual with a Power of Soul far beyond ordinary people and train it to become a weapon.
If the Witch's Plan succeeded, the entire world would become a farm for these lunatics.
All they needed was to flip a switch, wait a few centuries, and they could harvest products overflowing with soul energy as powerful witches.
Even if that tragic cycle repeated generation after generation, merely for their selfish desires.
Planting!
Perhaps to those madmen, it's as normal as planting some fruits and vegetables; nothing seemed wrong.
This, however, was why they should be utterly obliterated!
Unfortunately, Moslian knew little of the plan, only that there were initially seven test subjects. Emily was one of these lines.
In her generation, the plan could be considered mature.
Luckily, the madmen of the Tower of Truth were known for their meticulous nature. To prevent a mature witch from threatening themselves, they set up some safeguard measures.
Without completing the final [Witch's Banquet], a witch could not access her powerful soul energy even if she possessed it.
"It was really dangerous... If these lunatics were allowed to develop stealthily till now, they might have overturned the situation."
Understanding everything, Lette looked at Emily: "Seems like we need to take good care of you."
Emily, full of confusion, was about to ask what he meant when the sound of dense horse hooves came from afar.
Her face changed dramatically: "Oh no! It must be the Judgement Court's disciplinary knights coming! You must leave quickly!"
