In the morning, as they woke up, Arin met Ragna and updated her on what had happened with Ashley the previous night.
Ragna felt down. She blamed herself for Ashley's demise. Arin reassured her that it was not her fault. Ashley's fate had already been sealed the moment she was caught.
As they went downstairs, the guards greeted them.
They looked worried. Rumors of what had happened last night in the plaza had already spread.
However, neither Arin nor Ragna informed them of the events that had taken place in the barracks. Instead, they asked the guards to prepare for the prisoner handover process.
The Siterion Guards followed the orders and got ready quickly. Within a short while, they joined Arin and set off toward the Andulan Guard Barracks to receive the prisoners.
Upon reaching the barracks, the Andulan Guards requested them to wait outside, saying that the guard captain would meet them personally.
