"As you might know, Miss Arachnea is of the Arachne Clan, one of the numerous clans of fairies in the world," said Judge Schnee after reading his notepad. "She might look and act human to some extent, but bear in mind that she is a monster in the truest meaning of the word."
"Hm? (A monster?)"
As if hearing his question, Judge Schnee continued with her explanation.
"Gods of the high places or Ba'al. You might be familiar with the term?" she asked.
Noah shook his head. He was familiar with the term Ba'al but only vaguely—something about the Bible as far as he remembered.
"Those are the titles given to the progenitor of each of the fairies' clan," she said. "They are monster-like beings coming from the sky. However they are not as hostile to humanity as the monsters coming from the earth which is why we are in peace." She shook her head. "Forgive me, but as a Judge I have to ask—why exactly do you want to associate with such an individual?"
