Chapter 22 - 22 Menu of the day

In the dimly lit hotel kitchen, the chefs exchanged looks as Aman placed the whiteboard with the new menu on the wall. The familiar vegetable-stuffed parathas and dal were gone, replaced with an entirely fresh lineup of dishes. The menu looked almost too vibrant to be real, yet the promise of freshness was undeniable. Today, the customers would taste the fruits of Bani's otherworldly garden.

The chefs stood in quiet disbelief. The combination of ingredients was unlike anything they'd prepared before, but the freshness and vibrant colors of the vegetables spoke for themselves.

The Paratha Preparation:

The Spinach Paratha was the first dish to be prepped. The dough, kneaded the night before, was ready for rolling. Aman had given strict instructions for it to be thin, allowing the spinach, finely blended into the dough, to shine. The chefs worked quickly, rolling out perfect rounds, their movements in sync as they prepared for the first batch.

The pan was already sizzling when the parathas hit the surface. The heat caused them to puff up, their green centers contrasting beautifully with the golden-brown crisp edges.

Aman stood by, his heart racing as he watched the chefs flip the parathas. This was the dish that would tie everything together. On the stove, the mixed vegetable curry simmered gently, the fragrance of cumin, mustard seeds, and turmeric filling the kitchen. The vegetables—carrots, beans, and potatoes—were tender and ready to complement the paratha's light crunch.

"Make sure the curry is served hot with the paratha," Aman reminded. "The combination needs to be perfect—light, earthy, and nourishing."

The first paratha was ready, and it was placed in front of a customer who had just entered. Their eyes widened as they saw the vibrant green filling.

The Customer's Experience:

first customer, a middle-aged man entered, looking slightly tired but with a welcoming smile. His eyes scanned the menu hanging on the wall, and he decided on his breakfast.

I'll have the Tomato & Spinach Poha and Carrot & Spinach Smoothie, please," Ramesh said, his voice thick with anticipation.

As he took his seat, the vibrant hues of the food brought a fresh burst of energy. When the dishes arrived, the Tomato & Spinach Poha was fluffy and aromatic, with the perfect balance of tangy tomatoes and fresh spinach. The Carrot & Spinach Smoothie, smooth and invigorating, had a natural sweetness that complemented.

Man took his first bite, savoring the flavors as they blended seamlessly in his mouth. "This is incredible! The taste is so refreshing. I feel rejuvenated already!" he exclaimed, looking around to see if others had noticed. His words sparked a ripple of excitement among the other customers, each eager to try it.

By noon, the hotel was bustling with customers . A young couple ordered their meal: Tomato Rice with Dal and Carrot & Beans Stir-fry. As they sat down, the dishes appeared before them, steaming and full of color.

The rich Tomato Rice was subtly spiced, and the creamy Dal was the perfect complement, while the stir-fry had a crunch that made each bite feel satisfying.
