Chapter 30 - 30 New seeds

Bani surveyed the vast field, a small flicker of doubt creeping into her mind. Was planting all these crops at once the right decision? But as she walked, she felt the space bend to her thoughts, responding to her intentions. With each step, new patches of fertile soil emerged, as if inviting her to begin.

She divided the field into sections, carefully planting each seed in neat rows, picturing the life that would soon take root. Carrots here, beans there, and cauliflower at the far end. Onions and garlic nestled beside tomatoes and peas, while cabbage and spinach filled the gaps between them. In a small corner, she scattered marigold seeds, knowing their bright blossoms would one day add a splash of color to the landscape.

With each seed she planted, Bani whispered a quiet prayer—for good fortune, for her family, and for the future she was working toward. The space seemed to absorb her hopes, the earth beneath her pulsing with a quiet energy, as if it understood her intentions.

When she was done, Bani stepped back and took a final look at the land. The seeds would take time to grow, and she would be here to nurture them, to witness what they would become. But for now, she could rest, knowing she had taken another step toward the future she was creating—one seed at a time.

Bani collapsed onto her bed, her body sinking into the mattress as if it had turned to sand. The day had been long—shopping, planning, pretending. Even in the magical space, where her body barely moved, her mind ran endless circles.

"What is this slumber's embrace,

An ocean vast of lifeless grace?"

Her own thoughts whispered the words, weaving through the fatigue clouding her mind.

"Spreading webs of weary mist,

Dark vines coil, consciousness twists."

Sleep wasn't just rest—it was a force pulling her under, wrapping her in its grip. She felt it coil around her thoughts, tightening, dragging her deeper.

"Rising forth, encircling tight,

Sleep conquers even the victor's might."

Her breath slowed. Her limbs turned weightless. The battle was over. Sleep had won.

The next morning, Mr. Raj and Aman arrived at the hotel early, sipping on their morning tea before beginning the day's work. As soon as they reached, they decided to follow the same menu as the previous day.

Wasting no time, they instructed the kitchen staff to gather and arrange the necessary vegetables and spices for the day's cooking. The ingredients were carefully organized, ensuring everything was in place for a smooth workflow. With the kitchen set and preparations underway, the day at the hotel officially began.

There was never a shortage of potential customers. The key wasn't finding them—it was drawing them in with flavors that would make their taste buds loyal to the hotel. To achieve that, they needed to create a unique and unforgettable taste, something that would keep customers coming back for more.

Fortunately, the hotel was situated in a prime location, surrounded by a metro station, a railway station, and a busy bus terminal. With people constantly passing by, the opportunity was endless. The challenge lay in making them stop, take notice, and step inside. If they could perfect their flavors, the crowd would naturally follow.
