"Oye, motherfucker, try harder," Pikoki groaned. "Is this how your male spirit works?"
Jizang tried to please her travelling her every limb. He acted like a bee seeking honey from a flower. He pressed her hard. At the last moment, they exhaled deeply. Warm breath at each other.
Pikoki who was in her thirties was twelve years older than him. Though, their relationship was like friends-with-benefits.
"You are serving me like hell," Pikoki said managing her tenuous nigh-dress. "You know? What is your problem? You are not letting your full desire."
"Not only my fault. I think you are struggling with something," Jizang said.
"Yeah. I am trying to figure out our ministers' motives. Look, except for four elite houses others are just NPCs."
"You mean I'm also an NPC?"
Pikoki Smiled. She poked him. "You are my oracle, the precious piece."
Then she kissed him. They both drove through emotions.
"What do you think their motives are?" Jizang asked.
"Mosifals' motive is easy to guess. They just want to get rid of Bharatas, the rival of them in space travel. Zorvan wants absolute control. For this, he needs a fragile public, but Bharatas' actions can give power to the common people. But I don't think it is his sole reason. And for Huijins, I can't read Huian's mind. He is a vicious man. I don't know what he is up to."
The room was specially designed for Nirkits. Their house symbol Roaring Lion covered a whole wall. Room decorated with white and gold colours. Even some spears were hanging on a wall as decorative.
"What is your motive?" Jizang asked.
Pikoki frowned at him. "As if you don't know."
"Yes. But being the wealthiest is all you want? Don't you think it is unbelievable?"
"Which house is the elite here, Suzan Jizang? House Suzan or House Nirkit? Hmm?"
This question was purposely asked to ensure the position of power, to show who was really in charge and who had the authority to ask. Jizang gulped.
"May you bring me wine? Without wine, I can't sleep," Pikoki asked.
"Oh! Of course," Jizang stood up and dressed up. Then he quickly left the room to follow her command.
She sighed and then grinned.
As soon as Jizang left, a sentinary entered the room. He raised his gun and pointed at her. The sentinary fired. Pikoki moved quickly to protect herself. He fired again. She saved herself again.
"Stop you bastard!" She shouted. "Do you know who I am?"
The man prepared himself to fire again. Pikoki took a spear from the wall and used it in defence.
"Stop in the name of lord or you will die here!" She warned the sentinary.
But the sentinary didn't stop. So she hit his hand with the unsharpened end of the spear. The gun fell from his hand. Pikoki saw this as a chance and pointed the spear at him.
But the sentinary brought out a dragger. He was going to hurt Pikoki. But Pikoki was not less skilled than him. She defended herself and inflicted him with the sharpened side of the spear. He spat blood.
"What is happened here?" Jizang returned with a bottle of wine. He saw Pikoki holding a spear that was inserted into a sentinary. Blood on the ground.
"This bastard sentinary has come here to kill me and brutally failed."
Jizang dashed towards her and examined her if she was harmed or not. He didn't find any scratches. He exhaled with relief.
"But why someone would do this?"
Pikoki smiled at him. Just a little trick. She thought.
Like the Roaring Lion in the room of Nirkit, Huijins' was decorated with Furious Dragon. It was a serpentine dragon without any wings. People sometimes mistook it with a snake with legs, Huian needed to explain to them that the dragon was a Suantanese-style dragon.
Because of his great obsession with art, the room was decorated with painted scrolls. Those paintings replicated the Suantanese art-style, ink wash technique.
Dragon had a prominent role in most of the cultures. Maybe, that's why the company under Huijins was called Azul Dragon Pvt. Ltd.
Someone knocked on his door.
"Come in," he permitted.
A sentinary. Huian Straightened himself as he saw the sentinary.
"Ah, whenever I come to this room, I feel like I am in the old era. Humans are still limited on Earth. People fought wars for their pride and bigger empires. You are a true cultural enthusiast. You should be our Cultural Minister," the sentinary said.
This made Huian laugh. "First of all, I am only interested in Suantanese culture as that region is Huijins' root. Second Ahuras have put their loyalist as the Cultural Minister, so I can't nab that seat. Moreover, I am the Home Minister, what else do I need?"
"Then why are you spying on Zorvan?"
Huian looked at the sentinary from the corner of his eyes. "It is not the kind of question you should ask."
The sentinary watched those paintings again. "But I still think you should be the Cultural Minister."
Huian stared at him, then said, "Bhagavat Bharata is more cultural enthusiast than me. He knows about all regions' history. Although, it may be because of Bharatas' mixed root, but still. Enthusiasm doesn't bring you things but the opportunism does."
"Now I see why you are the Home Minister."
Huijin Huian Gu smiled. Then he asked whispering, "So what is the news?"
The sentinary's delighted face was gone and a serious look came up. "Your suspicion was right. Zorvan Ahura has an abnormal diet."
"Abnormal Diet you say?" Huian frowned.
"Yes, he takes threebuckets of rice ten times a day. Three buckets… can you imagine? And ten times! Not only that, he even orders two bowls of sliced apples every time. Can a single person eat this much?"
"It may be for some sort of pet," Huian mocked.
"Who can have a pet in their ancestral chamber?"
"Ancestral chamber?" Huijin became curious.
"Yes, beside the room of the President, there is a chamber. It is used as a prayer room where Zorvan worships his predecessors who used to be the President."
"Have you ever entered that chamber?"
"I did. But there was nothing. It was a simple room full of all previous presidents' idols. So his diet remains a mystery."
Huian wasn't impressed at all. But he needed to accept this answer. He was thinking to himself until he realised the sentinary was still there.
"Why are you still here?"
"Reward," sentinary simply answered. "I did spying for you, risked my life. I deserve a reward."
Huian sighed. Then he got up from the bed and went near to a shelf.
"Come closer," he instructed.
"Sorry sir, but what?"
"Don't worry I am straight. I don't have taste for men."
The sentinary did what he was asked to do. Huian hugged him. The sentinary felt awkward. He hugged Huian back. But then he felt pain in his stomach. Huian inflicted him with a dagger.
Sentinary was staring at him. Why? I risked my life for you and you've returned it like this?
Huian smiled and said, "Death is a way to salvation. In this dark world, freedom is the only precious thing. You should be grateful."
The sentinary fell to the ground. Blood covered the floor.
After a while, Huian heard the sound of rumbling from outside. He checked and found the latest news of the attack on Pikoki Nirkit.
Even the fate is with me. He felt relief as he now didn't need to hide the dead body of the sentinary whom he just killed.
