'This is a problem,' Shinji thought.
Behind him, he could sense Aurora sneaking around and trying to leave the house after him.
"Aurora, come out, I know you're behind the couch."
As those words reached their target, Aurora got startled and came out of hiding quickly.
Shinji saw her pouting, he knew that if he went outside, this little troublemaker would follow after him.
'I guess it can't be helped.'
Shinji resigned himself and said, "Listen, I will take you out tomorrow, so stay home today okay? I got some important stuff to do."
Aurora didn't seem convinced, that was until he said, "Either wait for tomorrow, or I will make sure that you never go with me."
She seemed to have accepted this as she stared at him for a few seconds before returning to her room.
'I'll just make sure to keep her far away from danger while we're out, maybe leave monster protecting her and fight without relying on my quirk.'

The following day, he was surprised to see that they were going to a hero rescue training.
Everyone was excited except for him, these past few days he barely had the time to meet potential allies for his purpose.
All he did was train to be a hero, something that he was technically doing as a vigilante.
The students put on their hero costumes before heading out on a bus.
While there, Shinji took the opportunity to sit next to Momo. "How are you doing?" He simply asked.
"Pretty fine," she replied, "I'm just trying to focus on the rescue training."
"Good luck I guess."
"Thank you… you too."
Shinji wanted to talk more, but this wasn't the time to go into deep topics, everyone around was listening.
In his peripheral vision, he could see Midoriya sitting straight with a smile on his face while talking with Uraraka.
The girl who was previously helped by him to escape from the giant zero pointer.
'Midoriya has been growing more confident over the last few days, or maybe he was like that a long time ago, I don't know.'
Arriving at the location, in front of him he could see a huge facility, and a person cosplaying as an astronaut.
"Wow! It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" Midoriya muttered excitedly under his breath.
'Old habits die hard I guess.' Shinji thought, looking at the excited boy.
Thirteen then explained the situation and what they would be doing inside the building.
This place's name was the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or USJ for short.
The space hero then went on a rant about her quirk and how it can easily kill and stuff he didn't really care about.
He was already aware of the fact that his quirk could kill very easily in no time.
Everyone got quiet and serious while listening to Thirteen.
When she finished, the students cheered, until they noticed something wrong happening inside the building.
Villains started pouring out of a black fog without control.
Aizawa got serious and ordered the students to not move and to run away.
The students were in awe seeing Aizawa fight for the first time as a pro hero.
While they were halfway to the exit, their path was blocked by a purple fog.
That was when Shinji realized that the fog was a villain and not only the effect of some quirk.
The villain started speaking about the goal of this event, it was for All Might to be killed.
Panic and fear spread quickly throughout the students' bodies.
They were separated by the fog which consumed their bodies.
Shinji reacted faster than anyone else to this.
Before it could take him, he activated his partial transformation and took Momo out with him.
Momo was surprised, she only saw a blur before seeing Shinji outside the mist, she was currently being carried in his arms.
She couldn't express her thanks as the villain started attacking them without a break.
Shinji shielded her from all attacks and kept her far from the villain.
"Momo, we will have to take him down, think of anything that could be useful." Shinji said while concentrating on the villain ahead.
"Right, give me a few seconds."
Now they were in a pinch, about half the other students were nowhere to be seen. He didn't know if they had died or if they were alive.
Noticing that the quirk seemed to teleport people instead of killing them, he remained optimistic.
These people wanted to kill All Might, but he wasn't there.
It was highly probable that they would try and kill a few students to get him to show up.
'I can't lower my guard,' he thought.
Thirteen started giving out orders to the ones that had escaped.
In one of the orders, she asked for Iida to go out of the building with his quirk and bring help.
This didn't happen however as Iida positioned himself besides thirteen and looked at Shinji dodging the villain.
His mouth opened wide with surprise looking at his classmate, but it didn't stay that way for long.
'What can I do to help them!?' He desperately asked himself, ignoring Thirteen's order.
Iida rushed to the villain despite the cries of the pro hero, and tried attacking the metal things he saw earlier in the mist.
"That will not work," the villain said while shifting his body in a way that Iida's leg got stuck halfway through his attack.
Opening his eyes widely, he was slowly warped away, reducing the chances of getting help by quite a bit.
