Aurora held Shinji's hand tightly, he wanted to leave her behind but there would be no one to protect her.
There was simply no option other than bringing her along with him through the warp gate.
Shinji allowed himself to be swallowed by the purple fog and appeared inside a bar with dim lighting.
It was immediately brought to his attention the man by the name Tomura Shigaraki who was sitting down on a stool looking directly at him.
Keeping his silence, he looked around the bar. It was simplistic in nature, and it brought forth a welcoming ambience.
Kurogiri appeared behind the counter and started cleaning the area as if he was on a normal day at work.
Shinji looked directly at Shigaraki and impatiently asked, "Where's my sister?"
Contrary to his expectations, he didn't talk, instead, words flowed out of a TV on the corner of the bar.
"Welcome, Shinji, I heard that you were looking for your sister, don't worry, she's fine."
The voice sounded calm and collected, something that bothered him immensely.
"Stop beating around the bush, get to the point."
"There's no need to be so impatient, I want you to join the league of villains and let us borrow your power for the greater good."
"As If I would waste my time with something like this. How can I know that my sister is safe?"
"You don't have to worry, I can let you have a look at her after you tell me your answer."
Before he responded, he felt the feelings of the girl besides him, they were negative.
She held his hand tighter before Shinji gave her a look of reassurance.
"Fine, I accept, now can I see my sister?" Impatience was starting to get to him.
"Here you go." The voice said before a familiar sound came out of the speakers.
"Shinji, please help me! They have me trapped in a cell, I don't know where I am!"
A frown fell on his face, "You told me that you would let me see her, I can only hear her. How can I know she's not a fake?"
The voice on the other side laughed a little.
"You choose if you want to believe us or not, but I'll assure you that you'll not find your sister anywhere else, the choice is yours."
"Tch," Shinji clicked his tongue, "What do I have to do?" He asked.
"We will contact you in a few days, as long as you stay in this city we will find you, don't think about leaving, or else you know what will happen."
"Fine."
With that being said, Kurogiri warped Shinji back to his sister's house.
Now that he was standing there in silence, extreme stress overcame his person.
What could he do? He sat on the floor and tried to calm his heavy breathing.
Everything seemed lost, his dream was getting further away from him.
"Don't go," he softly pleaded until he felt a hand rubbing his hair. A revelation came upon him.
A smirk fell on his face, "Hahahahahaha!!" Shinji covered his eyes with his free hand while laughing maniacally.
Aurora looked at him with concern.
After a minute, he finally calmed down a little.
"How could I have been so stupid and naive!" He screamed.
Aurora tried to calm Shinji with her quirk, but the effort didn't bear any results.
'Now I know what I have to do, it's simple, I'll become the god of Japan, and everyone will have to obey my commands.'
"Calm down," Shinji felt in his heart, he looked at Aurora, he picked her up and spun her in a circle while laughing.
'I'll kill All Might, I'll destroy every single villain organization, I'll become the symbol of fear, that's the only way this society can be changed for the better.'
'I'm sick and tired of trying to do things the nice way, I'm a killer, I should act like one.'
'This world will be better under my control, under my doctrine, I will be their new god, no one will disobey.'
"Hehehe!" Aurora didn't know what was happening but she started laughing too after a while.
Shinji put her down and held her hand before starting to walk away.
'Should I save my sister? No, what am I talking about, I should do it, she's my sister… or should I?'
It was weird, his heart was calm, was his sister really that important? She wasn't going to help him achieve his goals.
'She will probably understand what had to be done.'
The first part of his plan was making everyone notice his presence, then he would continue from there.
Thinking of his plan made a crazy smile appear on his face. "Perfect," he said slowly.
He was far too gone, Shinji barely remembered why he wanted to achieve his goal in the first place, he had forgotten the root of it all.
He only knew what had to be done, and that's what he was going to do.
'I will not let myself be controlled by anyone, even if that means making some sacrifices, everything is for the sake of societal evolution.'
Aurora jumped on his back and he carried her through the city of Musutafu, it was time for change to happen.
