There was no time to think, All Might had to apprehend his student before he caused more harm.
The villains that were still in the building started to flee, but were quickly noticed by the students.
They engaged these villains and defeated them, it was an easy task considering they were weakened from everything that happened.
Shinji lunged at All Might with incredible speed, he seemed to be struggling to keep up with his fast movements.
Seeing Shinji take a pause, All Might capitalized on it by hitting him in the chest before holding his head in place with one hand.
His body stopped in the air before All Might smashed him on the floor without mercy.
'I cannot hold back, if I fall here, all these students will suffer,' All Might thought.
The students were looking at the battle with a sour, and melancholic expression.
At this time, most of the students had returned from where they were sent by the fog and were now witnessing their classmate as a monster.
The bloodshed on the floor traumatized a couple of them as it could be seen in their eyes which were wider than usual.
Bakugo looked at Shinji with anger and disappointment. He was honestly a little creeped out as well.
Midoriya couldn't believe his eyes, his combat training partner had become this beast, it left him in disbelief.
"Guys, get out of the building, it's dangerous to be close, get out of here!" All Might screamed.
Just as he said this, Shinji kicked him in the face with enough strength for him to loosen his grip.
He escaped and rushed at the students, specifically Midoriya which was the closest one.
'Damn it!' All Might rushed after Shinji and pulled him back just in time to avoid a tragedy.
"Ahhghhh!"
Midoriya would've been split in two, he was instead left with a deep cut on his chest that left him bleeding heavily on the floor.
"Midoriya!" The students screamed.
They finally realized the dangerous situation they were in.
As long as they stayed in this place, they would only be a hindrance to All Might.
Shinji was dragged by his feet and thrown high in the air. All Might jumped after him and they started exchanging attacks midair.
Uraraka and Iida helped Midoriya up and took him with the ambulance outside.
All Might was winning the exchange, he grabbed a hold of Shinji's torn shirt and slammed him as hard as he could to the ground.
A deep crater was left and many pieces of debris and cement flew out like bullets, destroying everything in its path.
From the smoke came out All Might, he looked barely injured, but the slight tremble in his hands said otherwise.
The look on his face showed sadness, he knew what would happen to this young boy.
He first made sure he was incapacitated, this could be seen as Shinji's transformation was regressing.
All Might took a hold of him and carried him through the massacre and destruction.
Leaving the building, he was met with the press, police, medics, and the hero reinforcements.
"All Might, how is the situation looking inside?" Snipe asked, he was the gunslinger hero.
All Might frowned, and his smile was nowhere to be seen, this was noticed by the press which rushed to ask questions.
They were controlled by the police before All Might responded, "It's not good, though the situation is resolved, there's a mess."
"How big is it?"
"It's huge."
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Shinji starting to become conscious, he then strapped him to a stretcher for safety.
Shinji opened his eyes and was confused by his situation. He was then bombarded with memories of what happened, his mood dropped.
'I've done it again, I lost control, Damn it!' He gritted his teeth out of frustration, the pained and sad expression on his face was noticed by everyone.
His classmates didn't know how to feel about what had happened, they were still processing everything.
Shinji looked beside him and saw an unconscious Momo on a stretcher similar to his being carried inside an ambulance.
"Young Shinji, I know that this must be hard for you, and it's not your fault, but we will have to hold you accountable for your actions."
He looked towards the voice, his face was immediately filled with hate. All Might was talking to him as if he understood him, and that pissed him off.
'Am I going to be imprisoned without any chance of escape? What will happen with my dreams then? My aspirations? Is this my curse?..'
Shinji started hyperventilating, this was unacceptable to him.
Realizing that if he stayed where he was, there would be no chance to accomplish his goals, he took action.
He activated his partial transformation before slicing the throat of the medical staff besides his stretcher.
He placed all his power in his legs and rapidly shot himself away from the scene.
His transformation was not the same as before, it was normal, which meant that his speed wasn't the same.
All Might went to capture Shinji but without any explanation, stopped himself before catching him.
Shinji looked back and saw smoke coming out of his body.
He didn't know what it was, but he took this opportunity to escape into an unknown future.
