After Jonathan's match it was the last match of the exams the battel between Maximus and Robin a boy of higher nobility, the battle was already about to begin as there preparation time was up Max and Robin entered their battle stance and the fight begins, the match begins and Robin engulfs himself with flame magic and is on the defensive.
Max charges for an slash attack but can't through the flames he continues his relentless slashes but no succession is made, Max stops his attacks to chant a spell "hear me o' blessed goddess of water and engulf my sword in your holy powers, Water crescent slash" two slashes appear and forms a cross as they attack Robin but there is no effect
But Robin saw something was wrong "What's going on? I have an uneasy feeling" and Max comes out underground and lands a hit on Robin "how?" Asked Robin "You want to know? I casted a silent spell to create an optical illusion that tricked you into thinking I was attacking with a high level spell" said Max and charges for an attack "Water Crescent Slash" it lands and Damages Robin " Damn that hurt well played Max" after getting attacked Robin charges a flame spear spell and it was so fast Max was barely able to block it.
"It's time I end this Max, Silver Soul Release, Flame guardians" two beasts appear, the one on the right was a salamander the one on the left was a phoenix, the Salamander attacks Max and it is to strong and to fast for Max and it lands and puts Max on his knees "why aren't you using your sword?" As Max asks Robin answers "it doesn't matter you're still weak but out of pity I'll show you the difference in our power levels, hear me o' devil grant thy flames to burn my enemies, Death Flame"
The attack was too strong and fast for Max to react and i caused high level of damaged to Max he falls face down unconscious, " I win Max and you lose" said Robin, The audience starts to murmur that the outcome was already decided "SHUT UP!! you the outcome was already decided he fought with his best, respect the man even though he is weak he tried his best!" yelled Robin " T-Thanks Robin time for round 2 and I'll win for sure"
Max draws his sword " Silver Soul Release, 3 saints of god" three being manifest from Max's sword, the one behind him was a priest holding a book that boosted Max, the one at his right held a shield that protected Max, the one left of Max held a Sword, when Max charged the saints charged along side him.
The saint holding a sword use a slash attack that had lightning mixed with fire, Robin called his phoenix to block the attack it was able to block it but Max was behind the attack and slashes Robin but his sword broke, Robin countered with a water wave but the saint holding a shield protected him.
"What a pain those saints of yours" said Robin and he throws away his sword and stands like he is a professional fighter, Max charges with his fists only and tries a punch and another one along with a kick, and their releases are fighting by themselves the priest was still boosting Max, they stop for a moment "Robin use all of your boosts so it can be fair" Robin smiled and used his boosts.
they continued their fist fight punch after punch, kick after kick, Robin is reaching his limits, so he used a high level spell called "Next Level" this spell only leveled up a selective attribute either physically and magically the fight continued the audience was captivated and they were shocked that Max was this strong.
The victor of the final match was about to be decided, both of the fighters charged all of their Mana into one attack "Black Pillar" "Thunder Lord" both of the fighters shouted at the same time and launched at the same time, the arena was covered in dust and the audience could not see everyone wanted to see who won, when the dust finally cleared they all saw Robin standing but they did not see Max.
Robin only stood for a moment but fell on his back, The audience saw Max with one arm up and he was still conscious, the audience roared with excitement because they did not expect Max to be the winner.
But the arena was damaged and the fighters are extremely damaged but a woman came and told the staff to take the fighters to the infirmary, "Jonathan! hey" yelled Emma " Emma!, hey did you see Max's match?" asked Jonathan "yeah i did i never knew that he was training that much" Max's sister and his friend was still thinking about his match.
A week and three days passed and Max fully recovered from his fight with Robin, Later on he receives a message telling him that he passed the exams and he was awarded 3 Stars, he was so overjoyed to receive this type of message, then he decided that he going to train in the forest since the letter indicated that students will be called to come to the academy.
