Usagi's POV:
Mhm… Okami-kun!
I gasped softly as he grabbed my waist, his fingers teasing the hem of my skirt. My hands instinctively reached for his, stopping him before he went any further.
"P-Please stop… not here…" I whispered, my cheeks burning. "L-Let's… after we reach home, I'll let you be…"
The moment those words left my mouth, his smirk deepened. He leaned in, his breath warm against my ear.
"Oh? Is that so?" he murmured in that husky voice of his. "Then… I'm looking forward to tonight."
Oh no… WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!
Panic surged through me. I had spoken without thinking! My mind went blank, and my face turned as red as a tomato. What do I do now?!
He let go of me just a second before Mei and Hina walked in.
"Usag—ohhh, did we disturb something? Hehe," Hina teased with a mischievous grin.
"M-Morning, Okami-kun..." Mei greeted, eyeing us curiously.
I was still burning red from what just happened, while Okami, on the other hand, acted completely normal—like he hadn't just whispered sinful things in my ear! He simply nodded at Mei's greeting, unfazed.
Mei, being her usual bold self, stepped closer to him, casually draping an arm over his shoulder.
"Ah-huh, still the same cold replies? Even now that we're friends?" she said, her tone playful, her boyish charm showing as she smirked at him.
"I'm still getting used to it…" Okami said, his voice calm as ever.
"Oh yeah, boy, take your time. And don't worry, Usagi's with you now," Mei teased with a grin.
Okami just smiled—that smile. The most beautiful one I've ever seen. And knowing that I was the reason behind it… ahh, it made my heart melt. Hehe.
I hope Okami gets out of it…
I really want to see how he genuinely was before all this. Hehe, his smile is so warm now, but… I wonder what it was like before that incident happened to him.
I wish everyone knew how kind and good Okami really is…
I wish his dad understood what actually happened to him.
Okami doesn't know how to express himself, so I'll be his voice. I'll make sure everyone sees him for who he truly is—because he's not the person they think he is.
"Let's get going, Usagi! Stop zoning out," Hina said, snapping me back to reality.
"Hm? Ah, yes, let's go!" I turned to Okami and waved. "Bye, Okami-kun! Let's meet at home. I'll be late—I have an evening shift!"
He simply nodded. "Ok."
No reaction, as expected. But hehe, I know him too well—he's definitely going to be waiting outside the restaurant later.
