Luna's big, hopeful eyes locked onto Lexus as she asked, "Mama, will Lexus also marry me? I wanna live in his big house and he's so handsome."
I let out a laugh, shaking my head. Oh boy. Don't tell him that Luna it's gonna boost his ego.
Mom smiled, brushing Luna's curls back. "Sweetheart, Lexus is already going to be Billie's husband. And Billie doesn't like sharing."
Luna pouted, crossing her arms. "But Billie always says we have to share what we like! So why can't she share Lexus?"
Dad was already wheezing with laughter, shaking his head at me. I chuckled, crouching down to Luna's level. "Munchkin, Lexus is unsharable. But maybe someday, when you're older, you'll find your own Lexus."
"Not too soon, though," Lexus added smoothly, his smirk firmly in place.
Luna giggled, seemingly satisfied with that answer, but my grandma wasn't done yet.
"Lexus, has Billie played any of her famous pranks on you yet?" she asked, eyes twinkling.
