"Good job," he heard someone say from behind him.
The person clapped as he approached.
A smile on his face....
"Now, why don't you try that on a real opponent?"
Dan turned to look at Ryan as he spoke. His body couldn't contain its excitement.
Dan wouldn't mind giving a go at Ryan to see how strong he had grown, but then underneath all that excitement, he knew the truth. He knew if Ryan decided to go all out with him... He was no different from a corpse.
"Nahh, I'm good," Dan said with a smile.
"Come on... Just a little spar. I promise to hold back."
"Ryan, no matter the handicap put in place, you would still win, so there's no need."
Dan moved as he went to take up his shirt. As he held it up, he turned to face Ryan.
"I'm sure you were the one that took me home?"
"Guilty as charged," Ryan laughed.
"I thought as much. I need to find out something, though."
"And what might that be?"
"I am meant to be dead, but I am not as you can see"
"Okay, I can see that. So?"
