"ROAR!"
Drako's loud growl wake Aziel up.
"Wake up my child, follow me outside. It's time for your training to start." Eleanor told Aziel.
Aziel jumps from where he lied and went outside the cave to start his training. Drako followed them behind.
"First, you need to strengthen your body. I know you are already strong for your age but you're still weak compared to most people in your Academy." Eleanor instructed Aziel from the first day of training.
"You see that boulder?" Eleanor points the boulder that weighs at least a hundred pounds.
"Yes ma'am!" Aziel answered attentively.
"Good, now. Do you see the top of that mountain at the back of our little cave?" Eleanor pointed to mountain top behind their cave that was as high as the castle in their Kingdom.
"I do ma'am!" Aziel answered.
"Bring that boulder to the top, and bring it back here to the ground. That's all you need to do for your first day. Now, go and make me proud." Eleanor finished her instruction and went under a tree besides Drako to meditate.
"Yes ma'am!" Aziel answered in full of conviction, and starts to do his training.
"Do you think he can do it?" Drako asked Eleanor telepathically.
"I believe he can, if he can't prove to me by doing just that, then it will be his first and last day of training and I will send him back to his Academy after erasing his memories of us." Eleanor replied telepathically.
In the first few steps, Aziel found it easy as he carry the boulder on the way to the top.
But as he was ten meters in his climbing, his foot slipped, sending him back to the ground.
"I can do this!" Aziel shouted as he didn't want any help from Eleanor or Drako in his training.
Aziel stood up and carry the boulder in his back, and began to climb the mountain again.
It was way past noon when Aziel reached the middle of the mountain. He was so thirsty and famished by this time but he continued to climb the mountain. It was dusk when Aziel reached the top of the mountain.
"Haaa! Haaa! Haaa! I finally reached it! I can't believe it was this hard, the sun had already set."
Aziel was sat to give himself a little time to rest and regain a little of his energy.
"It's time to eat! Come on down before it gets cold!" Eleanor shouted from below.
"Yes ma'am! I'll be there in a minute!" Aziel answered in a loud voice.
Aziel began to climb down the mountain, but he found it harder than climbing as he needs to place his footing in a solid ground so that he won't slip again and fall. He spends more time climbing down than when he was climbing up. It's almost 9 o'clock when he reached the middle part of the mountain, and his knees were about to collapse from the fatigue, but he continued to persevere in his training. When he was about to reached the foot of the mountain, his footing slipped and he fell to the ground rolling, luckily the boulder that was in his back rolled away from him. It's almost midnight when he reached to foot of the mountain, where he collapsed and fall to sleep due to exhaustion.
"He barely made it." Drako assessed Aziel's performance telepathically.
"You're right, but he made it. He had proven to me that he could do it." Eleanor replied
telepathically.
Eleanor brought Aziel inside the cave and healed all his wound, but she didn't heal the pain and exhaustion in his body, as she wanted for Aziel to be familiar to the pain and his body to grow stronger by naturally healing on its own.
Aziel was snoring as he sleep in the cave.
And the next day started with the same sequence.
"ROAR!" Drako had become Aziel's alarm clock.
"Wake up dear Aziel, you need to resume your training." Eleanor instructed Aziel without even offering food for breakfast.
Aziel jumps from his ground bed, but the pain from yesterday's training halted him from doing so. He slowly stood and walking like a snail he went outside to resume his training.
"If you could finish your training early today, I will let you eat as many as you can after the training." Eleanor encourages Aziel.
"Growl"
Aziel stomach produced the sound of hunger. But he never submit into it, instead he lift the boulder and resume his training. His eyes was full of conviction as he starts to climb the mountain for the second day.
As he climb the mountain for the second day, pushing himself to the limit. His eyes lit up slightly, and he felt power coursing through his body.
Aziel was so focused on the training that he didn't noticed he already reached the top. It was also noticed by Eleanor and Drako that Aziel reached the top at noon.
And when Aziel was climbing down from the top of the mountain, he was practically running despite the mountain's inclination.
Eleanor and Drako's eyes went wide as they witnessed the physics-defining ability of Aziel.
At 1 o'clock, Aziel reached the foot of the mountain.
Eleanor was so shock that she forgot her promised to Aziel.
Aziel was looking like a raging bull as he approached Eleanor, with his mouth drooling, and a loud growl coming from his belly could be heard. That's when Eleanor realized that she hasn't prepared the food for Aziel.
"Oh, shocks! Wait here my dear child as I prepare your food." Eleanor hurriedly went inside the cave to pick her cooking tools, and started cooking.
"He really did it so early this time, huh." Drako talked to Eleanor telepathically, lying under a huge tree with his eyes close.
"Really? Maybe because I was so hungry that I finished it earlier than yesterday, don't you think so?" Aziel responded to the voice that made Drako jump from the shock, the ground shook a little by his action.
"What? Why? Is there an enemy?" Aziel raised his defense as he was also shock by Drako's reaction.
"You… you can hear me?" Drako talked telepathically.
"Uhh, yes. I just found it out earlier that I could hear you talking to Lady Eleanor. Is it bad? I mean, I really wanted to have a conversation with my Dragon friend, hehe." Aziel responded to Drako while smiling.
Drako could see a hint of light coming from Aziel's eyes, and his body was emitting a strange aura that he had never seen before. This made Drako raised his guard as he doesn't know if it was still Aziel who's talking or a different person.
"You can relax Drako, it was his inner power that was starting to emerge." Eleanor orders Drako, as she walk towards them bringing a huge pot of food for Aziel.
"Aziel have a sit under the tree, as I serve you your food." Eleanor instructed Aziel.
"Yes, ma'am!" Aziel replied happily as he was about to eat, after being famished for a whole day and night.
Aziel indulged himself to the food served upon him. He ate the whole pot of food, satisfying his hunger.
"Now. After you rest for a bit, I want you to train that power of yours by meditating. We need to do every possible way for you to force that power of your to come out." Said Eleanor.
"Yes ma'am! But how about the scrolls inside the chest? Can I still open them?" Aziel asked Eleanor, curious if he can still have a power from the scrolls.
"You will study the scrolls in the evening. Your training will consist of body training by bringing the boulder to the top of the mountain and bring it back here for as many as you can every morning, training magic by meditating in the afternoon, and you will read the scrolls and try to do what it says every night. Is that clear!?" Eleanor tells Aziel his full training course.
"Yes ma'am!" Aziel answered, his eyes full of conviction lit up slightly.
"Good! Now, rest time is up! Time to medidate!" Eleanor told Aziel.
"Yes!" Aziel replied.
"Okay, follow what I do, and try to find your inner power, and force it to come out."
Eleanor instructed, as she sat beside Aziel, crossing her legs while putting his hand in her legs, and sitting straight.
"Meditate by inhaling and exhaling, feel your body as if it was submerged in a vast water, and cast your inner energy out of your body pores." Eleanor showed to Aziel what he's going to do.
The two of them meditate under the big tree.
The air around them began to vibrate as they succumb to their meditation.
Drako watched them both meditate, and saw that the energy from Aziel's body was rising up and starting to match the energy that was coming from Eleanor's body. Drako began to sweat from the scene that was unfolding upon him.
A little while later, Aziel's energy caught up to that of Eleanor but he ran out of gas, and was panting from exhaustion.
"Haaa! Haaa! Haaa! It was harder than climbing the mountain." Aziel wiped his sweating
forehead, and saw Eleanor, still going at it.
Eleanor's energy was so calm, and peaceful, she maintained that energy for the whole afternoon.
After Eleanor finishes her meditation it was already dusk.
When she opened her eyes, she could see Aziel in front of her froze in amazement. It made her blushed as she saw Aziel's eyes full of curiosity and interests.
"What are you doing there!? Have you finished meditating!?" Eleanor yelled at Aziel, as she saw him not doing what he was supposed to be doing.
"Uh. Yes ma'am, I did, but I ran out of gas!" Aziel replied, jumping up from the shock.
Eleanor looked at Drako for confirmation. Drako nods his head slighty, confirming that Aziel was telling the truth.
"Sigh. Alright, let's head inside. It's time for me to cook dinner." Eleanor heading inside the cave smiling.
"Hey Mr. Drako, she seem happy, don't you think?" Aziel asked Drako, whispering.
"You're right kid. It's been almost a decade since I last saw her smiling." Drako answered
telepathically.
"Hey! I can hear you both! Move you butts faster, and bring the pot inside!" Eleanor yelled.
"Yes ma'am!" Aziel replied and pick the pot immediately.
"You're actually happy are you?" Drako asked Eleanor telepathically.
"Whatever, Drako." Eleanor replied not showing her face and continue to walk towards the cave.
"Kid, make it faster. She might scold us both if you don't hurry!" Drako orders Aziel in a jolly tone.
"Yes Sir!" Aziel happily replied.
Eleanor cooked for dinner, while Aziel opened the chest to study the scrolls.
After eating dinner, Aziel began trying to do what was written in the scrolls. So far, it was the hardest part of his training, as he didn't know what was written in it. The letters were written in an ancient scribbles, and he couldn't figure out what it says. Until he fall asleep with the scroll in his face.
"He really has the same energy output as you earlier, but he couldn't hold it for long and he ran out of gas." Drako told Eleanor telepathically what happened during the meditation.
"I didn't doubt anything he say, even when he was a little kid. He has an honest personality, with an eyes full of curiosity." Eleanor replied to him.
"Now I see, what you saw in him. I apologize for having doubts, milady." Drako closed his eyes and bowed his head towards Eleanor while lying.
"Forget it Drako, even I also have doubts. It's him who wiped that doubts away. Anyways, let's rest for now, because tomorrow we'll raise the bar for his trainings." Eleanor said before resting.
During his sleep, the seal that was preventing Aziel's power from coming out was slowly began to cracked, and his energy was rising up. Drako was the first to notice the energy from Aziel's body and wake Eleanor up.
"Milady! MILADY!" Drako raised his voice for Eleanor to wake up.
"Ugh, I'm tired what is it?" Eleanor was still half-asleep when she saw the energy from Aziel's body was starting to swell up.
Eleanor was shock, and now in panic.
"Quick! Use you sealing power! His body won't be able to take the energy swelling. He'll
explode!" Eleanor ordered Drako in panic.
"Yes! Your Majesty!" Drako turned to his human form, he still looks huge with a wings and tails, and his face was half human and that of a dragon. Using his sealing power, he put a barrier outside Aziel's magical core, but he leave a small crack in it. It is for Aziel's magical core to open as slowly possible, so that Aziel's body won't explode due to his massive power coming out.
