Aziel raise his guard as the girl approaches.
The girl was playing with her hands in a weird way, as if she was casting a spell.
A few seconds later, Aziel could feel a something weird, as if his body was being touched. He's slowly losing his mind, when Eleanor's blessing activated. Aziel walk towards the mysterious girl, his look was fierce, he looked straight right to the girl's eyes.
The mysterious girl was shocked as she watch Aziel walks, but she knew that her spell wasn't working, because Aziel was walking towards her with a fierce look. In a panic, she cast her spell again and this Aziel quickly grabbed the girl's hand and pulling her close. Aziel looked directly into the girl eyes.
"Stop what you're doing, if you want your hands to stay attached to your body." Aziel said in a quiet but serious way.
Aziel's action was seen by his classmates, and it made them want to think twice before approaching him in a wrong way.
Aziel smack Rocky's shoulder and it made him return back to his senses.
"Wha… what happened? Did I pass out for a bit?" Rocky asked Aziel.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Let's just continue walking, I want to tour the hall where the statue first." Aziel said.
"The statue in the hall. I also liked that place."
"Alright, alright. Come on." Aziel pushed Rocky outside.
After the little commotion, everyone returned to their business.
"Natalie are you okay?" One of the mysterious girl's friend asked her.
"Yes, I'm okay. , I wasn't hurt, in fact, I'm... I'm in love." Natalie sat in her desk as if she was hit by her own magic but Aziel was the caster.
Aziel and Rocky reached the hall where the statue was standing.
"Do you know who that was?" Rocky asked Aziel.
"I heard that was Apollo… god Apollo right?" Aziel answered.
"Shhh. We weren't supposed to say his name in the hall." Rocky warned Aziel.
"Why?" Aziel asked.
"I don't know why but I heard that he is the weakest of the gods and his student haven't won a single tournament of magic yet." Rocky answered whispering to Aziel's ear.
"What? Isn't that because of his students' capabilities? How can it be his fault?" Aziel replied back whispering.
"No. Not really." Rocky waved his hand while whispering.
"Before the tournament starts, the participants must be given a blessing by their gods to boost their magical powers. However, I heard that he hasn't really blessed any of the students from this
Academy who joined the tournament. This is why all the seniors were busy training their butts, because they knew that Apollo wouldn't gave them his blessings. And because of this, his name was hated being pronounce in the hall. Although they still couldn't take down his statue, out of respect." Rocky finished his explanation whispering.
"Ohhh. I get it, I'll make sure to put that in mind." Aziel nods in affirmation.
They both continue to walk through the hall and ended in one of the libraries on the first floor.
"The Academy was huge and their book collection was massive, so in order for the Academy not to get too overcrowded of books, instead of putting it in a single library, they decided to make a library in every corner of every floor in the Academy, there are a total of Sixty-four libraries." Rocky finished introducing the libraries story in a bow. It only shows that he really likes the place.
"You really are into this huh? I mean, I can't believe you memorized all that information with a bow for its finishing." Aziel giggled towards Rocky's action.
"Don't tease me, I really get into character when it comes to library's information." Rocky said.
"Okay, my bad. Do you want to get inside?" Aziel asked Rocky.
"Sure." Rocky was about to open the door when a humming fire ball was about to hit him from the side.
The attack was seen by Aziel and he quickly covered his arm using a small portion of his Ice magic. Just enough to make a vapor smoke without hurting anyone and himself.
After the vapor smoke settled, the attacker could see that Rocky was protected, and didn't get even a scratch. At the same, they could also see who their attacker was. Aziel didn't know who is it, and when he was about to asked Rocky about it, Rocky was frozen in fear as he saw who the attacker was.
"Rocky, do you know who that is?" Aziel asked Rocky who is shaking in fear.
"Yes, that… that is Liam… Meterfold." Rocky stutteringly answered.
"What? Who is he to you? Why are you behaving like that?" Aziel asked again when another fire was shoot towards them.
Aziel quickly pick Rocky by the back of his collar and jump to the side. The attack hit the library door that made the librarian get out trembling in anger.
"Who did that!?" The librarian practically screamed at the top of her lungs next to an 'observe silence' poster.
The librarian saw three students in front of the library, one passed out, one protecting the one who passed out, and their attacker.
Using her magic, she formed a whip-like weapon that binds whoever she decides to bind.
The attacker couldn't do anything, as the librarian's attack was so fast. In just a few seconds, the attacker was captured, and brought to the detention. Aziel and Rocky was sent to the infirmary and was told to also go to the detention after. Aziel protested but the librarian was so angry that his protest wasn't heard.
Aziel just sigh in defeat as he couldn't anything about it.
After a few hours, Rocky regained his consciousness, he began to cry in fear. Aziel who saw it, asked him who the attacker was, and who is it to him. Rocky began to cry even more.
"Aziel, I'm sorry that I got you involved into my problem." Rocky apologize while covering his face with a pillow.
"What do you mean you got me involved? Aren't we friends already? Don't worry, I will protect you for as long as I can. Now why don't you tell me who that is?" Aziel replied, reassuring Rocky.
Rocky, however, was still hesitant to answer. Eventually, he decided to tell Aziel, as he already got involved in it.
"That was Liam Meterfold. It all happened before we got admitted here in the Academy. He was my best friend since we were kids. We were so close to each other. However after getting his blessing, for some reason, he began to change, saying that he was so strong to be friends with me. At first, I thought he was just messing with me, but he almost killed me when we were having a friendly sparring, luckily my father saw us and rescued me. I believe he was scolded by his parents and beaten by his father after that. From then on, I stop going with him, and that made him angrier. I'm sorry Aziel for involving you into all of this." Rocky cried.
"It's okay, we were friends after all. If I'm in the same situation, I know you have my back." Aziel smiled as Rocky.
It made Rocky felt a little relieve. However when they were called to go to the detention, the relief that Rocky felt left his body in an instant, and worriedness took over.
When they went to the detention room, they saw Liam there looking at them with an angry face.
"You really pissed him off, Rioky." Aziel joked to lift Rocky's mood a little.
"Yes. What am I going to do?" Rocky replied cowering from fear.
"Hey, I was just kidding. As I said earlier, I got you. Just stay behind me." Aziel reassured Rocky.
"How can you face him? He's strong and has a powerful magic." Rocky fearfully asked Aziel.
"Don't worry, it's just between you and me okay? You see, I am strong as well." Aziel answered in whisper.
As the two of them entered in the room, Aziel and Liam's eyes met. Liam suddenly stood from his chair and walk towards where Aziel and Rocky. This made Aziel raise his guard.
