Chapter 46 - The Amazing Angewomon

An hour later, the peace summit officially concluded.

Moss had also basically completed her diplomatic mission.

From here on out, matters would be handled by each country's DATS branch.

Going forward, Moss would likely serve more as a digital world ambassador.

At least, that's what she originally thought...

But thanks to the chaos Belphemon stirred up, Moss suddenly became a global superstar—the brightest goddess in the world!

Although the effect of Ultimate Charm faded the same day, she still retained tens of millions of loyal fans, and hundreds of millions of casual ones.

[Venusmon: 30%]

Because a huge number of people with love and peace in their hearts emerged, the entire world became filled with vitality. As a result, Moss's chance to evolve into Venusmon increased dramatically.

However, since she was already able to channel Venusmon's power, whether the evolution percentage increased or not didn't matter much anymore.

Though she jokingly referred to the process of evolution as "card draws," it wasn't actual gacha.

Stacking duplicates didn't enhance star ratings either.

She didn't particularly want these fans, but still...

"Being adored by so many people… kind of feels nice," Moss admitted, finding a certain joy in this sense of personal value.

Her good name was praised in every household, her story told by millions!

Not just in the human world, but in the digital world too.

For example, among the Royal Knights.

Omegamon, Craniamon, Gallantmon, UlforceVeedramon, LordKnightmon, Dynasmon, Leopardmon, Sleipmon, Kentaurosmon…

This wasn't the complete list of Royal Knights, but currently, only these remained under Yggdrasil's command.

Each one of them possessed power at least on par with Belphemon Rage Mode!

Yggdrasil had already learned through the human world's internet how Moss defeated Belphemon, but being a deity that didn't like to chatter, He didn't bother explaining it to the Royal Knights.

Instead, the story spread after Sleipmon returned.

Omegamon exclaimed, "That Angewomon actually beat Belphemon? That's unbelievable!"

Though some Ultimate-level Digimon could rival Mega Digimon, Angewomon was not among them.

In truth, Angewomon's overall capabilities were fairly average for an Ultimate-level Digimon—except when facing dark or evil types, where she could perform beyond expectations.

Classic type advantage.

Belphemon was indeed powerful and evil, but so powerful, so evil, that even most Mega Digimon were like toddlers to him.

As a fusion of WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, Omegamon was deeply familiar with the power gap among Megas—let alone someone like Angewomon, who was "just" an Ultimate.

Even with type advantage, she shouldn't have stood a chance against Belphemon.

Yet the truth was, she won.

And beautifully so—with just a single arrow!

Kentaurosmon, the strategic mind among the Knights, asked, "Even if she's special, this level is unheard of. Sleipmon, how did she do it?"

Sleipmon, having learned how Moss pulled it off, spoke with admiration: "She awakened the DigiSoul of tens of millions of people in the human world and focused them into a single attack. Even Craniamon wouldn't have been able to block that."

Among the Knights, the smallest Craniamon was left speechless.

What do you mean I couldn't block it?

"Even Craniamon couldn't take it—amazing! Hahaha!" UlforceVeedramon laughed, thumping Craniamon's shoulder with a dull thud.

Craniamon brushed off his hand in annoyance.

Being the most heavily armored of the Royal Knights, everyone immediately grasped how powerful that one arrow must've been once they heard "not even Craniamon could withstand it."

To Craniamon, it was a compliment to his legendary defense, so he didn't take offense—just a little exasperated.

Leopardmon sighed, "That's the power of humanity."

"So many humans working together—how beautiful!" LordKnightmon smiled, twirling a red rose in his hand, clearly daydreaming about it.

Dynasmon nodded silently.

Gallantmon chuckled, "Impressive."

Though for some reason, the technique felt oddly familiar… but the feeling quickly faded, probably just his imagination.

Sleipmon continued, "But her suggestion to Yggdrasil increased our workload, and Yggdrasil accepted it. From now on, we'll be patrolling the space-time barriers in addition to our duties in the Digital World."

"Ugh…"

The Royal Knights' goodwill toward Angewomon suddenly dropped back to normal levels.

"Can we assign her more work?"

"There doesn't seem to be anything suitable right now."

"…"

Regardless, all the Royal Knights remembered that remarkable Angewomon.

Elsewhere, Moss and her Digimon underlings had traveled west from New York to San Francisco, where arrangements were made for food, shelter, and leisure.

By day, they ate and played. By night, they relaxed. For example, while channeling the essence of Venusmon…

Moss declared, "The world's brightest goddess, the dream of countless people—it's all in my hands."

Angewomon flushed. "Please stop. Don't use words like 'bright' or 'dream.'"

Moss earnestly said, "When morality becomes hypocrisy, it's the lowest filth. When nudity becomes art, it's the holiest."

"Huh?" Angewomon was stunned.

The words hit deep. The more she thought about them, the more profound they felt.

Moss continued, "To grasp the dreams of the world—what joy, what unmatched ecstasy!"

And so she danced. Almost like a villain.

Hey, she already saved the world. What's wrong with having a little fun?

Cue the music, cue the dance!

Ultimate Charm—even the pleasure was ultimate.

And because she already had the potential for Mega evolution, her self-indulgent joy wasn't just for fun; it unlocked a new path.

[Lilithmon: 1%]

In addition, she tried eliminating gangsters to raise her chances of becoming Holydramon.

Of course, she didn't do it as Angewomon.

Instead, she channeled Myotismon's essence and transformed into a "Blood Queen" to take out gangs, so she could eliminate evil while preserving her public image.

"Demon Blood Whip!"

A crimson whip danced wildly, turning a gang deal into a bloodbath.

Rat-a-tat-tat!

Gunfire echoed.

Bullets rained down on Moss. Some she dodged, others she tanked.

Though not built like a cyborg Digimon, she wasn't vulnerable to mere bullets.

Even the headlights of a car only caused a slight sway—no wounds.

Ordinary bullets lacking DigiSoul energy would need ten times the firepower to hurt her!

Soon, only one gang leader remained.

He saw how bullets couldn't hurt her, and his face turned pale.

Then he laughed. "So I'm dead for sure. Could you… use those smooth, long legs, those red-bottom heels… to stomp on me?"

His eyes burned with leg-fetish fervor.

Moss smirked. "You've got good taste."

He smiled too.

A fellow connoisseur!

"Crush me—do it!" He turned around, dropping to all fours, butt in the air.

"…But I refuse! Demon Blood Whip!"

Of course Moss didn't grant his final wish. One lash later, he was off to reunite with his fallen comrades.

Then she sighed, holding her forehead. "Even in the face of death, he clung to his kink. A real scumbag… but honestly, I think he out-weirded me."

Angewomon quipped, "That's not something to lament."

If anything, it's a good thing.

She always hoped Moss would become more normal, less perverted.

"Still, losing feels bad…" Moss turned to her stats page.

Unfortunately, the chance to evolve into Holydramon didn't go up.

But she did unlock a new Mega Digivolution path.
