Chapter 70 - A World-Shaking Achievement

On the Lookout, aside from Kami, there was only one other regular resident—Kami's servant, dressed in an outfit that made him look like he walked straight out of an Indian myth.

Mr. Popo!

Though he was known as Kami's servant, Mr. Popo had actually been on the Lookout longer than most Kamis themselves. That dragon statue in the storage room? He was the one who sculpted it.

"Mr. Popo, where were you earlier?" Moss asked curiously.

"Earlier?"

Though Mr. Popo's face remained expressionless, there was a flicker of curiosity in his dead-fish-like eyes—curiosity about Moss's origins.

Her appearance resembled that of the angels from Earth's legends, but he had never seen one quite like her before.

Well… at least not one that looked like this.

While thinking it over, he responded in a voice as calm and deep as an ancient well: "I was just revived. Before that, I was in the afterlife."

"The afterlife? I see." Moss nodded. So Mr. Popo had also been killed.

In the original story, Mr. Popo only died once—when Kid Buu destroyed the Earth. But he was revived not long after.

In this timeline, however, Mr. Popo had been dead for over twenty years.

Had Moss not shown up, he likely never would've been revived.

Kami shared this sentiment. The favor Moss had done them was beyond measure—far more than a single Shenron could repay. As long as she didn't ask for anything evil, he would fulfill any request she had.

But Kami didn't believe Moss would ever make an evil request.

Anyone capable of bringing them all back wouldn't possibly have sinister intentions.

"She is righteous," Kami thought to himself.

And not just righteous—an angel. A beautiful, pure angel. One who had accomplished great deeds. One who had inherited the power of Shenron.

She had the potential to become a god!

Kami stared at Moss, his gaze burning brighter by the second.

This… this was the successor heaven had gifted him!

Moss noticed the intensity in his gaze—it was impossible to ignore. After several minutes, she couldn't help but ask, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"N-No reason," Kami said, feigning composure and looking away.

Although she met all the requirements in terms of character and achievement, it would be hasty to hand over the role of Earth's Guardian so quickly. Best to observe her a little longer.

"..." Moss clearly saw through his thoughts but didn't press further.

Just then, she sensed several strong energy signatures approaching the Lookout.

Soon, those energies turned into visible figures.

From a distance flew a group of people—Future Trunks leading the way, carrying Bulma on his back, followed by Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu.

They landed on the Lookout, and when they saw Moss, some blushed, others' eyes lit up, and all showed sincere gratitude in their own way.

After some quick greetings, Moss got straight to the point. She looked at Bulma and said, "Bulma, I need you to build another time machine."

Bulma recalled Moss's earlier vow to get revenge and immediately understood why she needed it. "No problem. Leave it to me."

With Earth restored, her optimism had returned.

If not for the lines time had etched onto her face, she'd look just like the young girl who once invented the Dragon Radar and scoured the globe in search of Dragon Balls.

Moss smiled and added, "It'd be best if it's done within thirty—no, twenty-nine days. After that, I can't stay in this world any longer. You know, I'm not from here."

Bulma replied, "Got it."

Clatter—Everyone turned at the sound. Kami had dropped his wooden staff, and his expression darkened as if he had been struck by some terrible realization.

Piccolo smirked. "Can't even hold your cane anymore?"

Kami didn't respond. He just bent down to pick it up—not with telekinesis, but the old-fashioned way, like a regular elderly man.

He thought back to the time he tried to pass the role of Kami on to Goku, only to be turned down.

And now—he had finally met someone even more suited to the role.

So what if she was from another world? He himself wasn't even from Earth.

But to discover that this perfect successor could only stay for thirty days… no wonder he lost his composure.

Kami cleared his throat and turned to Tien. "Tien, Moss wants to learn the Kikoho. Would you be willing to teach her?"

Everyone looked surprised.

After all, the Kikoho wasn't just risky—it could kill its user if overused. And it was extremely difficult to master.

"No problem," Tien replied, then looked seriously at Moss. "If you're interested in martial arts, I can teach you anything. But the Kikoho is different. It's powerful but dangerous, and mastering it isn't easy."

Being able to temporarily suppress Second Form Cell, or even resist Majin Buu's attack, made its difficulty understandable.

Moss nodded without hesitation. "I need the Kikoho for something important. As for the danger, don't worry—I can't die."

Tien raised an eyebrow, saying nothing.

He'd heard others claim immortality before… and they still died.

Moss continued, "But the difficulty… that is an issue. Is there any way to make it easier to learn?"

She had good combat instincts, but if the learning curve could be softened, it would only help her progress faster.

Tien sighed. "I spent a lot of time in the afterlife studying ways to boost the Kikoho's power. But I never thought about how to make it easier to learn, so… I'm afraid not."

Once someone mastered the technique, difficulty became a non-issue. They didn't think about simplifying it—just improving it.

It was like a college student not thinking about how to simplify high school math—they weren't planning to become a teacher, after all.

Even if he started thinking about it now, it wouldn't be something he could figure out in a month. It'd take a year or two at least.

Kami offered a suggestion: "Let's use that."

The Room of History!

That mysterious room recorded all of Earth's history—filled with sages and martial masters of the ages.

Kami said, "Tien, I'll take you to meet the martial arts masters of the past. Learn from them, and borrow their wisdom to simplify the learning process for the Kikoho!"

"Huh? There's a place like that?" everyone gasped.

"You've all been there before," Kami said with a faint smile.

Back when the Saiyans were approaching, Kami had taken them there to simulate battles.

Tien didn't hesitate. He wasn't just going to simplify the Kikoho—he wanted to meet those legendary martial arts masters.

His love for martial arts surpassed everyone else here. In another timeline, he'd even opened a dojo.

Even though his power level dropped off later, he was a true martial artist through and through.

So, Future Trunks carried Bulma back to begin work on the time machine, while the others remained on the Lookout.

Tien was led into the Room of History by Kami, to meet the origins of the Turtle and Crane schools—Master Mutaito.

Kami followed too—after all, he was a martial artist himself.

A long time later, they emerged.

Kami raised a hand, channeled energy, and pointed forward, manifesting a small booklet—

"The Secrets of the Kikoho"

Simply put, it was Kikoho: From Beginner to Master.
