In the Suffocating darkness of the basement, Hye Jin Felt a Cold a thrill creeping through her veins. She Moved Silently around her restrained victim, feelings the terror rolling off him like a thick mist, Feeding her Curiosity. She was actually aware of every sound, Every Faint breath, the way his eyes darted in panic as they adjusted to the dim light. His terror was an Offering, and she was eager artist, ready to transform It.
She crouched beside him, her face inches from his, Studying every feature in a detached, almost clinical manner. His eyes were Wide, pupils blown with fear, Skin Slick with a cold sweat. Her Hand reached out, fingertips ghosting along his trembling jaw, and she felt the sharp, Thrilling awareness that this life was completely in her hands. She could do anything -- and no one would stop her.
Then slowly she lifted a pristine Surgical Blade, Letting it catch the Faint light just enough for him to see. She wanted him to understand what was coming. She didn't rush. Instead she savored the sensation, the way the cold metal felt against her skin. With a small twisted smile, she let the blade trace a path just above his cheek, applying the slightest pressure, enough to bring a TINY LINE of Blood to the surface. His breath hitched, and she felt a surge of exhilaration.
"THIS IS THE BEGINNING," she Whispered, her voice barely more than a murmur, laced with dark excitement. "YOU'RE IN MY CANVAS, AND I'll MAKE SURE EVERY DETAIL IS... UNFORGETTABLE."
Hye jin's mind sparkled with a twisted idea, a concept that brought a chilling smile to her face. She began by securing her father and the victim's right hands, each one tightly clasped around a knife. She then constructed a Macabre display : A Narrow table -like structure with a single post, on which she arranged a small platform at the top. She placed her First victim on this bench, and then positioned her father's body draping over him .
With cold precision, She took her father's hand, still holding the knife, and guided it to pierce her first victim's heart . The BLADE SANK DEEP, EXACTLY 6 CM INTO THE CHEST. She mirrored this with the blade into her father's heart .
Blood began to roll down her fingers, warm sticky, coating her hands, and she felt a primal satisfaction as it dripped down her wrists. Stepping back, she admired the grisly alignment and as a final touch, delicately Splattered blood onto the bodies, like an artist flicking paint across a canvas.
For her "SIGNATURE" Hye Jin reached for a cold, steel flower -- A Black steel Rose. This flower has a dark family history. Her grandfather had given it to her father, and her grandfather once used it to brand her grandmother, sealing her fate . When she discovered his true nature.
Hye Jin, Feeling the weight of this legacy, HEATED THE ROSE TO 360° DEGREE until it glowed a menacing red. She pressed it into the back of her victim's leg, WATCHING THE SKIN BLISTER AND SCAR AROUND THE MARK -- A symbol of Danger, Death, and Revenge, now her Own.
Under cover of night, She moved the bodies to a Construction site, Selecting a tall pile of rubble and broken concrete, where no one would think to look . Arranging the corpses at the top, she added a final, gentle blood splatter as if signing her Artwork. Standing back, and at last taking a picture of her first art.
She returned to the Underground room, Meticulously Cleaning up all evidence, changing her clothes, and slipping back home without a sound.
As she crept into the House, her brother Min jae, Caught a glimpse of her. Suspicious, he let it go, assuming she snuck out to avoid their mother's wrath.
The following morning, Hye Jin Finally emerged from her room, Min jae questioned her. "Where were you last night?" She lied effortlessly, claiming she had stayed up studying for university entrance exam, and Min jae, thinking she'd been avoiding their mother's scolding, let it drop.
Meanwhile In the morning their Mother, Eun Mi was worried. She called them together, visibly worried , " Your Father hasn't come home yet. " She said her voice tense.
Min jae's expression turned into serious."Did you call him , Mom?
"Yes," Eun Mi replied , but his phone isn't reachable."
Min jae nodded and tried to reassure her, suggesting that let's wait until the evening. Meanwhile, Hye jin turned away a slight smile creeping onto her lips . "HE'LL NEVER COME BACK," She whispered to herself.
Back at the construction site that Morning, early morning workers ,Three men arrived first : Two older men in their fifties and a younger man, Who had always dreamed of becoming famous. But As they took in the nightmarish Scene atop the rubble, the two older men -- jung soo and park Byung Ho-- recoiled in horror stumbled backward in fear , while the young man Kim seok Jin , was both horrified and intrigued .
Despite His fear, though shaken, felt a strange thrill. Fighting his fear, seok Jin pulled his phone and took several pictures, feeling a thrill at the thought of the exposure these images could bring him . Jung soo and park Byung Ho urgently called the police.
The police quickly arrived from the yongsan station. Officers Lee Hyun soo and Kim Hyeon ji led the investigation, quickly securing the area and questioning the three shaken men.
"What did you see When you arrived?" Officer Hyun soo asked Jung soo.
"It was....horrifying.. Bodies Stacked, covered in blood... Like some twisted artwork," Jung soo replied, still pale.
" Did you touch anything? Move anything around?" Officer Hyeon ji questioned Byung Ho .
Byung Ho shook his head , trembling. "No. We called immediately. I couldn't even look at it for long. "
Turning to seok Jin , officer Hyun soo asked, "Did you take any photos?"
Seok Jin hesitated, then replied, "N-No. I didn't.....have time."
The officers instructed everyone to clear site as they documented the evidence and took control of the scene, notifying the public only with a short, vague statement.
Meanwhile, seok Jin left the site with a mixture of dread and exhilaration. As he neared his home, the images replayed in his mind, and an idea slowly formed. Who did it? Why did he do that? Should I share it ? Would he dare to put it out for the world to see? He keeps thinking and then suddenly , almost instinctively, he muttered Aloud, " THE MYSTERY...." It was Perfect.
Feeling a surge of excitement, he created an anonymous account under the name , "THE MYSTERY," and posted the photo with a single chilling caption : GUESS THE MYSTERY BEHIND IT .
