Jack Wilson slowly opened his eyes after what felt like a long time. He looked around in confusion, trying to recall what had happened to him. Then, it all came rushing back. He remembered how, at the brink of death, a sudden thunderstorm struck the Earth. In that moment, a cold yet soothing voice like that of a goddess echoed in his mind, telling him that the Blue Planet (Earth) was merging with another world. All of humanity would be transported to a fantasy world and receive the blessings of the gods.
"Did I just get isekai'd into a new world? Wait… not just me, the whole world got isekai'd into a fantasy world!" Jack exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock.
Touching his head, he muttered in astonishment, "My head injury… it's gone? Oh, right! The goddess said that after the merging process, anyone who survived would be completely healed. Even those who lost limbs or other body parts would be fully restored. What a mysterious world…"'
After that, Jack slowly walked up to his hovering board, trying to check if it was working. To his disappointment, it wasn't. Checking his smartphone, he realized it was also dead.
Thinking for a long moment, Jack muttered in surprise, "This is a magical fantasy world. Electronic devices don't work here, only magical ones do, just like in manga and novels.''
His eyes widened in shock. "Then that means... Do the fantasy worlds I read about in manga and novels actually exist? And reincarnation, rebirth, and transmigration are real too?''
Jack looked around, taking a deep breath. The air was fresher than anything he had ever experienced on Earth. He glanced up at the sky, where two suns shone brightly. That must mean Earth's sun and moon somehow merged into this world.
Still processing everything, Jack thought to himself, What should I do now? After a moment, he made up his mind. I should go home first and check on Dad, Mom, and my cute little sister to see if they're okay.
After thinking about his parents and little sister, Jack wishes for their safety. Filled with anxiety and worry, he runs as fast as he can toward his home.
On the way, Jack sees crowds of people running and shouting like crazy. They claim they've arrived in a fantasy world and gained superpowers. As he moves forward, he overhears snippets of their conversations:
"Hey! Did you hear that voice in your head?''
"Did you get any superpowers? Look, I didn't get anything. The voice said we received God's blessings."
"No, bro, I didn't get any powers either. Maybe we'll develop magic after we adapt to this world. It's only been five minutes since we arrived."
"Yeah, you're right. We just got here, it hasn't even been a full day."
"I thought I was going to die when the thunderstorm struck!"
"When the thunder roared, I thought it was Doomsday!'"
"Look at the sky! The air feels so fresh, and there are two suns!"
"What a magical world!"
"This is just like the novels and manga I used to read on Earth!"
It took Jack 30 minutes to reach home. What surprised him most was that after running for 30 minutes to cover just 2 kilometers, he wasn't tired, his body was still full of energy.
Upon arriving at his house, Jack called out through the main entrance: "Mom, Dad, are you home? Please open the door!"
As he waited, the door suddenly swung open, revealing an 8-year-old girl in a red dress. She beamed at him with a big smile.
"Big brother, are you alright? What happened to your head? You're covered in blood, and your clothes are so dirty!" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Seeing his adorable little sister safe and sound, Jack couldn't help but smile. Moved by her concern, he reassured her, "Sofia! I'm alright. It's just a small head injury. Look, I'm perfectly fine!''
Sofia Wilson, Jack's 8-year-old little sister, had a unique charm. Her skin was as pure as white jade, her lips a soft shade of red. She had a small, straight nose, striking red hair and eyes, and stood at 3.9 feet tall, her chubby cheeks adding to her cuteness. A birthmark on the corner of her left eye, just like their mother's, made her appearance even more distinct.
Then he rubbed his cute little sister's head and pinched her round, soft cheeks.
Seeing that her brother was alright and even pinching her cheeks she pouted and said, "Big brother, you bully! Mom, Dad, come here! Big brother is bullying me again!''
Watching his little sister complain like a scaredy-cat, Jack broke into another big smile. But then, noticing his parents approaching, his expression turned serious.
"Mother! Father! Are you both alright? Did anything happen to you after I left for school? And… did you also hear a voice in your head talking about a fantasy world and magic?''
"Yes, son, we're fine," his mother, Emma, reassured him. "At first, I thought I was hallucinating when I heard the voices in my head. But then your father asked me, 'Did you hear something in your head too?' That's when we realized we weren't imagining it's really happening."
She is Jack's mother. She wears a white and blue dress. Her name was Emma Wilson, but her real name was Emma Williams. After marriage, she changed her surname to match her husband's. She is in her late 30s and resembles a mature version of Jack's little sister, Sofia. She has pure, jade-like white skin, red lips, a straight nose, striking red hair and eyes, and a height of 5'6". She also has a birthmark on the corner of her left eye, which gives her a unique charm. She is a housewife.
"We were so worried about you! We tried calling your phone, but the mobile networks weren't working. That's when we got really scared," Emma said, her voice filled with concern.
"Hey! Son, what happened to your head? It's bleeding! Come here, let me take a look and give you first aid."
"Mom, I'm okay. It's just a small injury. But after I woke up in this world, the wound miraculously healed on its own," Jack explained, showing her the barely visible wound.
Emma quickly stepped forward and carefully examined the wound. She took a cloth and gently cleaned the remaining traces of blood.
Seeing Emma tending to Jack, his father finally sighed in relief. He looked at his small family of four, his lips curling into a faint smile.
But then, today's events flashed through his mind. His smile faded, replaced by deep concern.
"What dangers will my family face in this Samsara World?" he wondered. "Is this a blessing or a curse?"
