Chapter 3 - An Angel shows up. Blessings, Elements and Power System

As James worried about how his family would survive in this new world. Suddenly! a woman with white wings appeared before them, as if teleporting out of thin air.

Her sudden arrival sent shockwaves through the family. Their faces paled, their hearts pounded, and fear gripped them to the core. James himself was frozen in shock, unable to react immediately. But after a moment, he gathered his courage, stepped in front of his family, and demanded in a firm voice, ''Who are you? Where did you come from? Are you a ghost?"

The winged woman chuckled softly. "I am not a ghost," she said. "In this world, people call us Angels, messengers of the Gods."

Though her words were spoken in an unfamiliar language, James understood every syllable perfectly. It must have been the Language Blessing that everyone received at the start.

The Angel smiled warmly. "Nice to meet you, otherworlder. The Gods have sent us to guide you, to explain the power system and history of the Samsara World."

Realizing that she posed no threat to his family, James spoke in a cautious tone, "Please tell us more about this new world, Miss Angel."

Angel smiled gently at his wary tone. Clearing her throat with a soft ahem, she spoke, "It's nice to meet you again, otherworlders. My name is Ava. Please, introduce yourselves."

Sensing her friendly demeanor, James eased his vigilance slightly and replied with respect, "My name is James Wilson. This is my wife, Emma Wilson, my son, Jack, and my youngest daughter, Sofia."

With that, he introduced his entire family.

Once the introductions were complete, Ava clasped her hands together and began her explanation. "This world is called Samsara, as you already know. However, I will start from the beginning. Please listen carefully and do not interrupt until I'm finished."

Her tone shifted slightly, carrying a weight of wisdom as she continued, "When every living being reaches the age of sixteen, they receive a blessing from the gods. There are both Good Gods and Demon Gods, but the deity who grants the blessing is not what truly matters. What's far more important is the one who receives it."

She met their eyes, emphasizing her next words. "For example, if a kind-hearted person receives a Demon God's blessing yet chooses to use it for good, or if a wicked person is granted a blessing from a Good God but twists it for evil, what does that tell you? It means that blessings themselves hold no inherent morality. Good and evil do not come from the gods, they come from those who wield their gifts."

Everyone in the family sat in silence, listening intently. In this world, survival wasn't just about strength, it was about knowledge. The most powerful weapon was information.

Ava took a deep breath before continuing, her voice steady and reverent.

"Now, let's talk about Blessings. Obtaining a Blessing is not something anyone can control entirely. It depends on a person's will, luck, perseverance, and sheer determination. There are two types of Blessings: the first and most powerful is the Main Blessing. These are extremely rare; each god can only bestow three Main Blessings every hundred years. If a god has already granted two, they have only one more to give before the cycle resets."

She paused for effect, letting the weight of her words sink in before continuing.

"The second type is Minor Blessings, a weaker version of the Main Blessings. A god can grant ten Minor Blessings in a hundred years. Now, you may wonder just how significant the difference is between them. To put it simply, a single Main Blessing holds the power of ten Minor Blessings combined."

A murmur ran through the family, but Ava wasn't finished.

"The divine system follows strict rules. Only one in a hundred people has the chance to receive one Main Blessing, Either from God or Demon God."

A hush fell over the room. The thought of rejecting a god's gift, knowing its value, was almost unthinkable.

"As for Minor Blessings," Ava continued, "an individual can get three minor blessings or four minor blessings one who hasn't gotten the main blessing. These blessings may not compare to the power of a Main Blessing, but they still shape destinies."

Jack's family listened with rapt attention. Their expressions ranged from awe to deep contemplation. This wasn't just an explanation, it was a revelation.

"And remember this," Ava said, her voice quiet but firm, "Blessings are the very foundation of this world. They are the roots from which all power, all fate, and all existence grow."

A heavy silence followed her words, as if the weight of an entire world had just been placed before them.

Suddenly, as if recalling something crucial, Eva spoke, her voice steady but filled with significance. "There's one more thing you should know. Some people don't get a main blessing, but that doesn't mean they are destined for mediocrity. If they dedicate themselves to mastering their minor blessings pushing them to their absolute limits they might awaken something extraordinary. At the peak of their efforts, they can create their own unique blessing, one powerful enough to rival even the main blessings."

A stunned silence filled the room. The Wilson family members were already reeling from all the revelations, but this was like a thunderclap in their minds. Every new piece of information felt like a bombshell, shaking the very foundation of what they knew.

Eva took a breath before continuing, her tone shifting slightly. "Now, let's talk about the fundamental forces of our world—its elements. There are eleven in total, each shaping the balance of existence."

She began listing them, her voice steady and deliberate:

1. Pyro – The element of Fire

2. Geo – The element of Earth

3. Electro – The element of Thunder

4. Hydro – The element of Water

5. Anemo – The element of Wind

6. Cryo – The element of Ice

7. Dendro – The element of Wood

8. Phoebus – The element of Light

9. Erebus – The element of Darkness

10. Chronos – The element of Time

11. Khora – The element of Space

She paused, letting the gravity of her words sink in. Then, with a look of awe, she continued, "These eleven elements form the very fabric of our world. But there is something beyond them, something more primordial. When the energies of these elements converge through mana, they give birth to the World Core. From within the World Core, an ancient and chaotic force emerges… the Chaos Element.

And it is from this Chaos Element that the entire Samsara World was born."

Ava's voice was filled with reverence, as if she herself was only now grasping the sheer enormity of what she was saying.

Ava's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as she explained the wonders of elemental affinity to Wilson's family. "Every living being possesses elements within their body. The number and type of elements determine one's potential and talent. This talent is categorized into seven tiers, ranked by color—Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet, from lowest to highest."

With passion in her voice, she continued, "A Red Star talent is born with a single element, an Orange Star talent wields two, a Yellow Star talent commands three, and so forth. A Green Star talent possesses four, a Blue Star five, an Indigo Star six, and at the pinnacle, a Violet Star talent wields all seven elements."

Pausing for effect, Ava then revealed, "However, beyond these seven, two rare Elements Light & Darkness and other then that there exist two legendary elements Space and Time which are so rare that only one in a million awakens them."

After allowing the weight of her words to settle, she shifted topics. "Now, let me explain the Power System. Every living being follows one of two primary cultivation paths, shaping their destiny in pursuit of strength."

She raised a finger. "The first path is the path of the Magic Circle Mage. Through deep meditation and mana refinement, one forms a Magic Circle within their heart. This foundation allows a practitioner to ascend from a humble 1-Star Magic Circle Mage to the pinnacle of mastery as a 9-Star Magic Circle Mage (Low to High)."

Then, she lifted her other hand. "The second path belongs to the Aura Force Ring Masters. These individuals forge Aura Force Rings upon their hands, granting them immense physical enhancements. Like the Mages, they progress from a 1-Star Ring Master to a 9-Star Ring Master (Low to High), each step marking a profound increase in their combat prowess."

She clasped her hands together, a smile forming. "Beyond these two paths lie the professions and the roles that define a warrior's purpose. There are eight primary professions: Warrior, Knight, Archer, Assassin, Mage, Priest, Summoner, and Beast Tamer."

Her voice carried an air of authority as she elaborated. "Warriors, Knights, and Archers follow the path of Aura Force Ring Masters, refining their bodies into living weapons. Meanwhile, Mages, Priests, and Summoners walk the path of Magic Circle Mages, wielding arcane forces to bend reality to their will."

Then, Ava's expression turned even more intriguing. "But there are two unique exceptions—Assassins and Beast Tamers. These professions do not confine themselves to a single path. Instead, they cultivate both Magic Circles and Aura Force Rings, mastering the balance of physical and magical power."

She leaned forward slightly, her tone filled with awe. "Why, you ask? Assassins seamlessly weave physical strikes with magical energy, striking with both blade and spell in the same breath. Beast Tamers, on the other hand, require a Magic Circle to form contracts with their beasts. Their contracted creatures fight with raw physical might, but their strength is directly linked to their master's own abilities. A Beast Tamer's talent is shared with their companion, creating a bond of power unlike any other."

Ava took a deep breath, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "This… is the foundation upon which all power is built."
