While this was going on. In the middle of the night a group could be seen coming onto a small island.

He was woke up in the middle of the night and had notice they had some unwanted guests.

Kira's mom, Caridad Yamato and Revend Malchio made there way to Lacus and the kids when they heard the noise that woke them up.
Andrew was being attack when one of the men got the jump on him.
He heard in the radio broadcast that the target was moving and only had a female guard.
Andrew knew that they was targeting Lacus from this.
He went to meet up with them once he finished off the others shooting at him.
Murrue was leading them to the underground bunker where it would be safe for them.
Kira was already told this would happen so he was prepared and protected Lacus when a man had hide in the air duct and try to shot her.
Murrue quickly shot him when Kira grabbed her and fell to the floor with her in his arms.
Lacus thanked him and they both rush though the open door and Andrew came from the other side saying that Lacus is the target.
They quickly got everyone underground and locked the door so no one could get in.
Kira and Andrew was talking when Lacus came over and heard what they was discussing.
Lacus "Kira you don't have to do this."
Kira "Lacus I would fail my mission I was given if I did not protect you and everyone else so give me the keys. Jason isn't here to protect you so it falls to me to."
Lacus was shocked that Jason had seen this would happen and handed the keys to the Freedom to Kira.
Andrew and Kira unlocked the door.
Andrew took the kids farther down when they blasted the mansion he was living in.
It sounded like mobile suits outside.
Kira quickly launched the Freedom and seen that the ones that was sent after Lacus was Zaft mobile suits a new one called Ash.
They had about ten of them. Kira made quick work destroying all the weapons, arms and legs of each one.
They all self destructed when this happen.
