Aria's pov
I sighed and tried to read another line but it just wasn't going anymore.
I was exhausted, I liked Geoffrey but studying was even more draining than intense physical training. My eyes ached and it was beginning to give me a headache.
My brain was dull and my whole body ached. I stretched my arms and cringed when I heard them pop.
Geoffrey left me long ago because he had other urgent matters to take care of and he tasked me with studying the kingdom's history book.
I guess I should be grateful that he left me all alone unless he would be disappointed that I am looking for ways to escape.
Basically the formal thing that Geoffrey told me earlier, it was dated and detailed just like he warned me it will be.
I have been reading and noting down some important things for a while now. It was tedious.
I looked past the window and gasped when I realized I have been here almost the whole day, my body felt like such a drab.
