He didn't say anything either, my guess was he wasn't one to engage in arguments or debates. I deflected and calmed down. Maybe I was doing too much and it wasn't helping my case. But the nerve to assume that I sabotaged my tests? I resisted the urge to tell him that I was determined to ace this test and win so I could reject his arrogant ass, but that would be pushing it. I took deep breaths to calm myself, there was no use arguing with him.
"I was watching you earlier," I surprised myself by saying.
He looked shocked but managed to keep it together. I was shocked too, I didn't mean to let him know that. Now, he was going to think I was a crazy stalker.
"Why?"
"You are impressive as a warrior. I loved watching you to know if I can learn one or two from you. I can't help it, it's in my nature."
A flick of disappointment passed in his eyes, and his shoulders slumped, busy barely.
Was he disappointed with my response?
I smiled, "Would you teach me?" I asked him.
"Huh?"
