Aria's POV
"Oh, don't be so uptight. We're both adults here, right? Nothing wrong with a little morning wood." I wiggled my eyebrows at him, relishing in his discomfort. He looked so innocent right now, almost endearing.
I watched him struggle for words, clearly out of his depth with my teasing. "Aria, I—"
I cut him off, sitting up and stretching my arms above my head. The cloak he had draped over me slipped away, leaving me exposed to the morning air. His gaze flickered for a moment before he quickly looked away.
"Relax, Your Highness. I'm just messing with you. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were some shy farm boy instead of the fierce warrior I saw last night."
His lips twitched as if suppressing a smile, but he refused to take the bait. "You have a unique way of making a man feel at ease, Aria."
