Chapter 22
Inside the white pillar of light, a silhouette is visible. Everyone is looking there, the big players have a relieved look on their faces, and Moloch has a questioning one.
Then the pillar becomes even bigger and brighter, until the darkness is chased away. The sky becomes clear again, not a cloud in sight. The silhouette absorbs the big pillar of light, and a beauty appears with clear blue eyes like the sky, a pristine white aura surrounding her.
Her body is ethereal, light passing through her. If you didn't concentrate, you wouldn't even feel her presence or see her as she passed by.
Then Niobe Megara, The White Nightmare, enters the scene. One moment she was far in the sky, and the next, she was next to Zmaug, her hand on his chest.
A milky white aura enters Zmaug's body, and he starts to heal, his pale look becoming better and better with each passing second.
After healing Zmaug, Niobe looks at Moloch and says:
"You will pay a hundredfold for this."
Then, all around Niobe, monsters start to appear. But not the same monsters as before; now there are Cyclopes, Golems, Ogres, Centaurs, Unicorns, Fairies, and Sphinxes.
They are all white with a proud look on their faces.
Moloch just watches unperturbed, with a calm look on his face. He flares his aura, and the process of corrupting the souls from all around begins again.
Monsters appear behind him, real monsters like the undead and the 'Dark Beings.'
Niobe tries to stop the corrupting process, but Moloch attacks her and doesn't let her stop the corruption, and then a war between the monsters starts again.
Moloch uses his already healed knives like nails, and Niobe uses her aura to block. Both are just testing each other.
Then Melody comes to back up Niobe, and the two of them fight Moloch now. The others know they would do more harm than good if they involved themselves in this fight of 'Soul Masters,' so they start killing the Soul Monsters created by Moloch.
Niobe and Melody are pushing Moloch back. He knows that if Melody's sword hits him, he will die.
So, he starts to become angry. 'When did I ever have to be on the defense in a fight... Never. And I won't start now with these weak Earthlings.'
Then the air starts to change around Moloch, and his aura begins to rise. Niobe says:
"Melody, get away from him! You won't be able to help me from now on. He's going to leave his body."
Melody looks at Niobe with an 'I don't understand' look on her face, but she listens to Niobe and backs off.
Then she watches as Moloch starts to transform. His body starts to crack and bleed, but not with red blood—his blood is purple. His body starts to lose its vitality, turning to ash, pieces of it flying with the wind. Then a boom is heard, and his body explodes.
In place of the flesh body, an ethereal body remains. Moloch's new body begins to grow bigger and bigger, stopping at the ten-meter mark. His body now looks a little different. His skin is not the normal pale anymore. And his saw-like teeth are gone.
Now, he has a crown of red light with spikes floating above his head, his skin almost transparent like pale, and a normal human mouth.
If he weren't the tall devil he was, he would look like a human with long arms. But he was the farthest thing from a human. When he finishes growing and transforming, he says:
"Now I won't be able to stay long in this dimension anymore. This is my real body, and the rejection is 100 times more severe. I need to use most of my powers to reject the dimensional rejection."
"But I will make sure to take your souls to play with before I am rejected completely."
After speaking, he looks at the monsters he created. With just a look from him, the monsters go berserk, attacking everything around them with double the power. Then, he looks at Niobe.
And he disappears from his spot. 'An unbelievable speed for someone so big. It looks like teleportation,' think the others.
'So he wasn't even fighting seriously with us earlier.'
Niobe was prepared. She knew that Moloch would be much stronger now.
He appears behind Niobe, but he seems to use something different to attack now—red-like tentacles from behind his back. He sends them towards Niobe, and a few towards the big players. The big players think, So that's why he appeared behind her—so he can attack Niobe and us at the same time.
But Melody cuts the tentacles with her sword, and no harm comes to them.
Moloch looks at the sword with a yearning look, knowing that as long as Melody has that sword, she can cut him and his attacks.
If Melody didn't have that sword, the big players wouldn't be able to block his attacks, and they would suffer.
When Niobe sees that Melody can defend them, she lets out a relieved breath. Now she can fight without worry.
She starts to attack the tentacles, one sword in each hand, made from soul power. She gets faster and faster, cutting more tentacles than Moloch can make per second. She starts walking toward him. When Moloch sees this, he says:
"Not bad. Not many can get through my 'Unlimited Soul Chains.'"
"If you weren't my enemy, and if I didn't have to kill you here, you would've reached unbelievable heights in the soul arts."
"But don't worry, I will take extra special care of your soul after I kill you."
But immediately after he finishes talking, he feels something behind him. He turns and sees a young dragonkin female, holding a black sword with a blade like teeth. Then he hears her saying:
"Expel, full force."
An explosion hits his body, but not a normal explosion—it feels like a hit from a Universe-level 8 fighter. Inside the explosion are all kinds of energies, including soul energy, and that hurts him badly. The explosion sends him flying like a broken kite, with his back a broken mess. The different energies make even more disastrous wounds on his soul.
Everyone looks at the frail-looking young maiden. She managed something unbelievable, she hurt Moloch Gor'og, The Soul Ruler, and she hurt him badly. This is especially hard to do, considering he has an ethereal body, and physical attacks don't normally work on him. Only another Soul Master could hurt him with physical attacks. But she managed just that. Everyone is looking at her, shocked.
Leah looks back at them and says:
"He hurt my father. I waited for this occasion the entire fight so I could pay him back double."
Then they look toward where the prince landed, and they see him coming in and out of existence, not even able to get up. So, they all think, 'You did more than double.'
Niobe snaps out of her shock and runs toward Moloch, thinking, 'Now is our chance.' She yells at Melody:
"Melody, now is our chance! Bring your sword here and finish him now. Hurry."
Melody realizes what chance Leah gave them, and a smile appears on her lips. She turns to her and nods with a grateful look on her face. Then she starts running toward the fallen prince.
She reaches the prince in a second, and immediately raises her sword, ready to stab him.
But the prince creates a cocoon of red aura all around him. When the sword pierces the cocoon, a scream is heard from inside. Then the cocoon disappears, but inside is not the prince—it's a different soul.
When Melody sees that, she turns to Niobe and says:
"Where is he? Find him fast."
But before they even manage to finish talking, they see a vortex of souls on the opposite side. There, they see the prince eating the souls.
Niobe screams while running toward him:
"Don't let him eat the souls, or he'll be back at full health in a second."
Niobe controls the souls to scatter, so he can't eat so many at once. But once Niobe and Melody reach the prince, he can stand again. His back seems fine, but he no longer has his tentacles.
When Moloch sees them, he runs toward them, punching with a normal punch toward Melody. But if this punch connects, she will die, because Moloch concentrates his aura only on his punch, and if this concentrated aura hits Melody's soul, she won't be able to resist it.
But Niobe gets in front of Melody and uses her aura to form a shield in front of them, the punch hits, and a shockwave is formed that sends everything flying in all directions.
But then he feels something wrong behind him again.
He thinks, 'There is no way that she is again behind me.' If he turns now, then Melody can hit him from the front, but if he doesn't turn to see behind him, and takes another hit, then he won't be able to reject the 'Dimension Rejection.' So he is in real danger from both sides.
