Chapter 39
On the side of the 'High One,' some changes are taking place:
"Abyss, you have to prepare yourselves for the last step of the plan. It seems that Ark is doing things exactly how we predicted; he will not leave Earth until all are saved."
Then Abyss starts to call for a complete retreat. The people on the 'Royals Planet' can't believe it.
"Why are the monsters retreating? What are they planning?"
Slowly, all the Devils and the Dark Beings go back into the pocket dimension where all the Big Monsters are, and they wait for new orders.
But the dimension starts to move away from the 'Royals Planet,' but not before the 'High One' gets out, and he is the only one remaining on the battlefield.
He looks towards the planet that lasted until now without any problems, the monsters not being able to get past the barriers left behind by the 10th-Level Universe Fighter.
But the 'High One' takes out a cube-like machine that has spinning gears inside. Then he says something in his language while pointing the cube towards the 'Royals Planet.'
"s'noisnemiDretaE, tratSgnideeF."
Then a hole opens in the middle of the cube, and a black ray of light, like plasma, shoots toward the planet.
When this black plasma ray hits the shield, the shield, which had taken so many hits without even trembling, lets the ray pass through it like butter, unable to stop it even for one second.
The ray hits the planet's surface and drives through the Earth like it's water. It continues unperturbed until it hits the core. When it reaches the core, the black plasma ray starts to expand inside and then pulls the entire core out of the planet.
Immediately, the planet starts to disintegrate, and the people are dying like rats. Billions and billions disappear forever. In a few seconds, the core is completely out, and it moves toward the cube.
When it is a few hundred meters away from the cube, it starts to shrink until it is the size of a rice grain and simply goes inside, and the hole just closes.
The planet that stood the test of time for billions of years is destroyed in a few seconds, with most of the people dead. The only ones remaining are the most powerful, but even they look like zombies. They just look where their planet used to be. Now only debris remains. The people all dead.
They look towards the one who did it and see him looking at them. Then they fly towards the one who took everything from them, not caring about their injuries, not caring about anything.
They just want to make him suffer.
But they just see him disappear, not leaving any trace behind.
They look around and don't see anything, then only screams and crying are heard for miles and miles around. Even in the void of the universe, everything is heard clearly.
When the 'High One' goes back inside the pocket dimension where everyone is, they look at him with new eyes. In a few seconds, he managed to destroy the strongest planet in the Laniakea Supercluster. Everyone thinks, 'He really is powerful.'
He walks towards Abyss and tells him:
"Now we are only a step away, and our plan will be complete. Let's go and pay Ark a visit."
Abyss just nods, and the pocket dimension starts to move toward Earth, not knowing what the last step is that the 'High One' is talking about.
In the Second Empire, Niobe is fighting with Krolok, and he releases monsters in the middle of the last line where the people are. Niobe tries to stop the monsters with her own monsters.
A complete chaos forms, and the people are trying to back away from them, but some are not fast enough, and they lose their life in the blink of an eye.
Niobe sees that and releases a soul wave that kills most of the monsters. Then the people and Niobe's monsters start to kill the remaining ones. For now, the chaos is avoided. Niobe's quick response saved them.
But Krolok was hiding again. He knows that Niobe is a tough opponent, so he tries to go after Elliot. He thinks that if he kills Elliot, there won't be anyone left to keep his monsters away. Then everything will be easier. The annoying people will die, and he will have an easier time trying to kill her.
But again, before he even manages to reach Elliot, he sees Niobe in front of him. With two swords in her hand, made from Soul power, if those swords hit, he will wish he were dead. He knows how much it hurts to be hit directly in your soul.
So he loses his cool when he sees the two swords and tries to fly away from Niobe. But she knew that he would try to run, so she has her aura ready, and before he even manages to turn, Niobe already hits him with a soul wave that makes him sluggish for a moment.
Niobe then cuts him all over his body as fast as she can. The swords don't make any wounds on his body but cut directly at his soul.
But because he has such a powerful artifact, he doesn't receive fatal wounds. And not being fatal doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt, on the contrary, it hurts even worse.
With every sword cut, he screams harder and harder, his soul unable to take so much pain for long. So he does the only thing he can, he tries to block her swords. But Niobe is even more cunning than him. The moment he tries to block, she sends another wave of Soul power, making him sluggish again for a moment.
So he can't block her swords no matter how much he tries. Then he starts to be really overwhelmed by the pain. Before he manages to even think about escaping, he feels a hand inside his body. But that hand doesn't hurt his flesh at all, instead, it feels like it holds his soul. If he makes even one move, he will die. He looks down again for the second time but now sees Niobe's hand glowing with a white aura, her hand inside his chest. His artifact armor, hit more in his chest area, had become too weak at that point to be able to stop Niobe's hand.
Niobe looks at him one last time and sends a soul wave directly into his soul. She had gathered this aura for a long time, and when she releases it, Krolok's soul just explodes from the powerful wave. His soul is so weak that he didn't even manage to stop the wave for a second.
His eyes lose their glow, and in the next moment, his body falls to the ground.
Krolok Zirath, a Dark Being Royalty, killed by Niobe Megara, the White Nightmare. His dying screams in his last moments are heard by all.
Then cheering is heard, and she sees the people jumping for joy, some crying because they know now that the 'win' is right around the corner. They hear Niobe:
"We are not finished. We still have to kill the rest of the monsters, so go and avenge your comrades. Kill them all."
Then a wave of high morale reaches them, and they start to scream and run toward the monsters, who now have no leader.
They begin killing them like weeds, especially with Elliot in front of them, and Niobe from behind, that starts making her Machine Gun Balls again, so they can kill them even more easily.
Ray comes to Niobe and tells her:
"I know I am overstepping my bounds, but I still must ask you: can you please go and search for our City Ruler? Because you are the only one, I can trust to do that."
Niobe looks at him and smiles.
"You are not overstepping. I was already planning to do that. I will go and bring your City Ruler back."
Then she tells Elliot her plan, and she takes flight, her soul vision at maximum power so she can see even the smallest details. The trail is easy to find because no one held back when they fought. After flying for about thirty minutes, she finds a valley.
There, she sees the devastation is much worse than anywhere else, meaning that the last fight took place here. She lands and walks slowly toward a crater made in the middle of the valley.
She looks around and sees cuts and cracks like spider webs all over the place. The trees are all uprooted. The place looks like a bomb went off. A really strong bomb.
When she reaches the crater and looks inside, she sees the man who fought alone and managed to kill two Royals. His body is a broken mess, full of blood everywhere, one of his hands missing, and one of his legs bent at an awkward position.
But his chest, still rising and falling.
