Chapter 7:THE COSMOS
A silent breeze swept across the endless cosmos as Jophiel moved at incomprehensible speed, soaring through the astral void. He was not alone—nearly 2,000 other angels accompanied him, streaking through the celestial plane like divine comets. Their destination was a place far beyond Earth, beyond even the vast cosmos—the Kingdom of the Celestial.
The grand kingdom stood suspended in the void, a realm untouched by time and mortal hands. At its heart, on a throne of radiant energy, sat the King of the Gods—Leo. His golden aura rippled like the surface of a sun, a presence so overwhelming that even the highest-ranked celestial beings knelt before him.
"How are the warriors progressing?" Leo's deep voice resonated through the grand hall, his piercing gaze sweeping over the gathered angels.
"They are improving, my lord," the angels responded in unison.
But among them, one angel hesitated. "There is... one who is struggling, my lord. His progress is slow."
Leo's gaze sharpened. "We do not have much time. Their training must accelerate—we cannot afford weakness."
The angels bowed their heads. "Yes, my lord."
As celestial energy pulsed through the divine halls, a storm was brewing on Earth...

Earth – Goro & Ryusei's House
Back on Earth, Goro and Ryusei were sprawled on the couch, flipping through TV channels with lazy hands.
"Oi, change the channel, man, this is boring." Ryusei grabbed the remote, but Goro yanked it back.
"Nah, you always pick trash shows."
"Shut up, you literally watched a cooking show for an hour yesterday."
"And? Cooking is important."
The two bickered like idiots, wrestling over the remote like it was a priceless artifact. Then—click.
The screen flashed to a breaking news report.
"This just in—A mysterious black figure has been sighted multiple times across the city. Eyewitnesses report seeing a shadowy entity appearing and vanishing at random, spreading fear among civilians. Authorities have advised citizens to remain indoors after dark."
The TV showed grainy footage—a tall, distorted silhouette lurking under flickering streetlights. Its presence sent shivers down the spines of those who saw it.
Ryusei frowned. "Yo... what the hell is that?"
Goro leaned forward, eyes narrowing. "Maybe ghosts?" He smirked, but something about the figure on the screen felt wrong. It wasn't just some ordinary urban legend—this thing was real.
A cold wind rattled the windows.
Outside, in the farthest corner of the street, a figure stood watching.
And it smiled.
